charisbarak
We will not only be able to see God in all His Glory, but His glory will fill us within!! I can hardly imagine this--words cannot express it adequately. Sufferings here on earth will be far surpassed by this glory. There will be new heavens, new earth, new bodies with no more suffering, no more tears, no more mourning. Our spirits will be one with Him. What more could we ask, to be His sons/daughters and heirs with Jesus Christ? Praise Him!

hanks
Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? All will be revealed to us in due time. How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? All creation will be made new and not be subject to decay and death. How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? We will have new resurrection bodies. When the Lord Jesus comes from heaven, He will transform these bodies of ours. It will no longer be a body of decay or death. masika
Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory? The glory of Christ is the resurrection. "To receive this glory with him" means to say that we will be made exactly into the state of Christ's resurrection. We too will be transformed into the same glorious figure as the resurrected Christ. The end of a human being seems to be something that is altogether way far from that of glory. But, this figure of a decaying corpse is not the final way we are to be. The exact same glory that has been revealed in Christ is "the glory that we're expecting to be revealed in us in the future," and that is the ultimate way we will be, our ultimate figure. "I think that [our] current sufferings are trivial when compared with the glory that we're expecting to be revealed in us in the future," (Romans 8:18). [These] are Paul's words. They are the words of a man who knew suffering. The eyes of Paul are opened from the present filled with suffering unto a future shinning with glory. Lifting up our faces like Paul did, we too must open our eyes wide unto the future. Unless we do, we won't be able to stand up to hard times in any true sense. As long as we see only what's around us, all we can do is but moan "Why am I the only one suffering?" as we look at those who look so happy, or as we look at those less fortunate than ourselves [the best we can do is] to find comfort for ourselves in saying, "[At least] I'm not suffering as much as them." There is no real strength to endure suffering in making comparisons with others. Strength to endure suffering comes from a hope [that is] sure and certain. JustJeff
How we, in our bodies, in our spirits and all of suffering creation will experience Christ's glory when He comes: "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thes 4:16-17 "Behold, He cometh with clouds: and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen." Rev 1:
JanMary
Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? v.18 His glory will be revealed to us and in us and for us and will be conferred on us. How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? It will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption and gain an entrance into the glorious freedom of God's children. It will be as it was created to be, before the fall and the resulting curse. (Gen. 3:17 "The ground is under a curse because of you Adam") How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? Before "The Fall", Adam and Eve had glorified bodies, radiant with God's glory...unspotted with sin. When they chose to disobey and they fell, the "light" of God's glory within them, "went out" and death started it's countdown. (Thank God! or humans would live forever in our fallen sinful state! Death brought an end to eternal bondage to the fallen state.) In Christ, our mortal bodies will put on the immortal, and will be filled with His glory as was intended for creation. We will be revealed to the entire creation as God's sons and daughters, our true destiny. We will rule and reign with Him here on earth for 1,000 years when we return from the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven after the Rapture. In what way will our spirits experience God's glory? We will be like Him...we will finally have the mind of Christ...we will be one with Him in Spirit, having been conformed into His image. That phase begins here as we walk with Him and immerse ourselves in His Word, but it will be completed at the Resurrection, when our fallen nature is replaced with His nature. How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory? His glory will be revealed. It is more than we can understand now. The glory is rich and great and concerns the soul and is eternal. We long for the coming of the Lord. The suffering creation will be made new, free from bondage and corruption. It will be created as New Heavena and New Earth. Our mortal bodies will be transformed into immortal bodies with the glory of Christ. Our spirits will be like Christ, we will have His mind and we will be in His image. Sarah43
Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory? We will be transformed and know God as we are unable to know Him now. Suffering will end and simultaneously make sense. Our bodies will be redeemed. We will not need them as we know them now. Our spirits will be clarified and less ignorant. THe transformation will be alchemical (in a symbolic sense), in that our spirits will be released from matter, or matter will be made spiritual. joan22
Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory? WE DO NOT KNOW EXACATLY BUT WHAT WE DO KNOW IS THAT IT TRANSCEND THIS EARTHLY SPHERE. IT IS HARD TO PUT INTO WORDS,BUT I DO THINK ROMANS 8: 18 SAID IT ALL WHERE WE DO NOT LOSE HEART EVEN THOU WE ARE WASTING AWAY, BUT INSIDE WE ARE BEING RENEWED EVERY DAY, OUR LIGHT AND MOMENTARY TROUBLES ARE ACHIEVING FOR US AN ETERNAL GLORY THAT FAR OUTWEIGHTS THEM ALL. THE SUFFERING CREATION WILL EXPERIENCE GOD"S GLORY IN A WONDERFUL WAY, AS WE GO BACK TO GENESIS WE READ HOW GOD HAD CREATED THIS EARTH PERFECT, THERE WAS NO DEATH AND DESTRUTION, THIS WAS PARADISE, UNTIL SIN CAME INTO PLAY. SO CREATION WILL EXPERIENCE A REBIRTH WHEN THE LORD RETURN, ISAIAH 11:6-9 PUTS IT WEE THE RESTORED CREATION WHERE THERE WILL BE NO VIOLENCE SUFFERING OR DEATH. OUR SPIRIT WILL EXPERIENCE GOD"S GLORY WHEN OUR RESRRECTION WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AT CHRIST COMING,WILL SIGNAL A RENEWAL AND REMAKING OF ALL CREATION. OUR REVELATION AS SONS AND DAUGHTRS ON THAT DAY IS TIED WITH THE RENEWAL OF THE ENTIRE EARTH.

Greta
When Christ comes to claim His bride we will be transformed into beauty and graceousness. Love will flow through us, into us and also out of us. What a wonderful day that will be. The suffering creation will also be transformed. God doesn't go backwards, but the nearest I can think of is that it will be something like the garden of Eden. Our mortal bodies will be healed, renewed, given new life and light will shine from us. Our spirits? - oh my goodness! - our spirits will be so overjoyed that they will throb and exalt with praise, worship and joy. I think that we will burst with happiness. We will see Jesus face to face. Hallelujah! God bless, Love from Greta
RickJW
Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory? We expect to rise up to heaven, into a wonderful light. Our bodies will be 'like new' - lost limbs will be restored, cancers will disappear, though I'm not sure that grey hair will be darkened! The suffering we have been through on earth will be forgotten in the joyful eternity we will enter. Our spirits will be lifted higher than ever possible on earth as we take our places with God in heaven.
