How is the Holy Spirit upon us vital for our own success as disciples? The Holy Spirit is, what I like to call, our "Savior map". The Holy Spirit is somewhat like a map written in and on your heart. He guides us, but only if we allow Him to. He says, "turn here child", or "keep straight, you're on the right path". He tells us when we embarking on a wrong turn and warns us that it's not the right way. We have to be completely open to the Holy Spirit or we are blindly guiding ourselves through life and missing what He has in mind for us to do.
