  1. We must guard our hearts with all diligence because from it are the issues of life. Staying watered, weeded, and watched will help insure a God glorifying harvest. Stay cultivated my friends db
  2. Salvation is really "selling out" or "being all in" to the King and kingdom life. When we understand the message of the kingdom and totally embrace it, our hearts become the soil in which fruit is produced. If we don't have understanding or have ears to hear and do, then natural and supernatural forces will try to steal, kill, or destroy the work of God in you.
  3. Q3. (Matthew 3:11) What is the point of comparison between Johns action and the Messiahs action? What is the point of difference? Do you really long to be overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit? What might prevent this in your life? What might encourage it? John's baptism: Immersion into water - repentance - outward sign of an inward work Jesus' baptism: immersion in the Holy Spirit -t ransformation - inward working with outward signs The hardest thing for me is to stay in the place of abiding. It should be a habitation and for me it is often just a visitation. Overwhelm me with your Holy Spirit Lord!
  4. When you are blinded by self-righteousness you see no need for repentance. A "once-and-for-all" baptism would have been far below a pious Pharisee. When you think the direction you're going is the right way why change directions, right? The true humility necessary for a public display of repentance and remorse is seldom found where pride dwells in a brood of vipers.
  5. Repentance is about a change of mind, which in turn leads to a change of heart and direction. The Word says that we shouldn't be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. This transformation requires a change of mind, thus repentance is necessary. The only way to be conformed to Kingdom life and living is through faith in the King, Jesus. Following Him will be contrary to the direction of unrepentant lives.
