I know that the last part of Galatians 1 talks about Paul's journey of being strengthened in the Lord. Starting in Arabia according to verse 1:17, and there to Damascus where he sought to persecute Christians before Jesus' light shone down on Saul and blinded him. After that Paul went to Jerusalem and met with Peter, and then Syria and Cilicia. Everyone remembered Paul as the one who persecuted them, and now he preaches Christ. Then fourteen years later he returned to Jerusalem. This was done by revelation, and laid the same gospel that he had been preaching to the Gentiles. Why the factor of making it known about Titus not feeling compelled to be circumcised was to prove that Paul was sincere in his professing faith in Christ alone. When Paul shared the gospel with the Jewish Christians had shown up to share the message that not only did they need faith in Jesus, but circumcision as well. Otherwise you were not fully surrendered to the Lord. Later on in Chapter two Paul had to withstand against Peter because he withdrew from the Gentiles, and hung with the Jewish Christians because he feared the false brethren who were of the circumcision. Paul told Peter that if being a Jew live like the Gentiles, and not as the Jews how he compels the Gentiles to live and do as the Jews?

Paul was known for persecuting the church of God. He confesses this in 13, in 14 he gives his motives for persecuting the church was to look good to the Pharisees. He aced all his classes in the Law. Verse 15 begins his testimony about how God called him out of the world to be separate. He(God) revealed Jesus to Pau, so Paul could learn about Him, and then preach to the gentiles about Him. I too was called out by God. I know many seeds were planted to reach me. I finally accepted Him at 26.

It was pointed out in Galatians 1:12 that God had appointed Paul to teach about His Son Jesus Christ. In the last almost 2 years I've learned after 20+ years of being a disciple of Christ that it's very important to make sure you do not take the Bible out of Context, nor Pre and Subtext. There are reasons why you need to sometimes back up, or move ahead when explaining God's Word. I thought I did pretty well, but I still have much to learn. After all it was in Galatians 1:8&9 Paul said that anyone even an Angel gives misrepresentation or Misunderstanding about what the Gospel is all about let them be accursed.

Jesus continues to keep us from falling into the traps of works through His Word if we choose to read His Word, and listen to when the Holy Spirit is warning us not to go down the road of sin and works. The Holy Spirit will also convict us when we do after not listening to the prompts.

I know that today there is plenty of debate as to what makes or not make us a Christian. Some say you need if you're a woman to wear dresses 24/7, Men wear suits and ties 24/7, Old King James is the only Bible that's used in Personal and Public Worship, You need to be a Conservative Republican no matter how corrupt they are, and you need to listen strictly to Black or Southern Gospel. It comes down to pride, and depending on the leaders frame of mind manipulative, controlling. It becomes flesh, and it can be dangerous. -

I look at the Jewish Christians as "Wannabe Teachers." They profess Christ, but their hearts want to keep their Jewish traditions and customs to please the Pharisees. The Pharisees fate was sealed when Jesus levied on them the seven woes. They'd plot to murder Jesus through Roman law, but God know their heart. The Jewish Christians here were definitely weak in the faith if in the faith at all. Paul called everyone out on the floor by saying 1. He was chosen of God to preach the good news 2. He preached that Christ died to save us from this evil age. 3. He makes it plain through his rebuke of the church of Galatia that salvation is through faith in Christ, and nothing else. 4. He calls anyone who says anything else is accursed... Even the angels. 5. The ultimate was in form of a question. "If I was trying to please man why am I being persecuted?" -

Jesus gave His life for us because we can't save ourselves. We proved the law to be ineffective. As we continue on the age is evil. Christ died not just for the present, but the past and future as well.

Reading a news story about Glenn Beck being on suicide watch after Ted Cruz dropped out of the Presidential race saying "God needs to punish us" for allowing this to happen. I am appalled by this because I believe God can use anyone to lead our nation. I feel this is just one of many things that we put upon Christians that we need to do to be justified as "Saved" and "Born Again." That we need to call the Republican Conservatives "God's Own Party." Others may say "Old King James Bibles" only. These are just two of many things that Christians feel have to happen before "Our election is true. We have received Christ as Lord and Savior. Whatever happened to just true repentance? Coming to Jesus " Just As I Am?" -

I see Jesus as the chosen one to save us, so we can be reconciled to God. I feel He has saved me time and time again. I could've died at seventeen when I almost fell onto a elevated train track, and could've been electrocuted. At twenty six I was in a car accident and flipped my car. I was anticipating an explosion, and seeing visions of hell. I'm thankful for what Jesus did for me.
