Q11. Cross
Paula Price replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Building Solomon’s Temple (1 Kings 5-7)
The old testament Sacrifice was just a teaching method on how and what God requires for forgiveness of sin. But only until a more perfect, better sacrifice, which is Jesus! You have to be trained in how to do anything correctly, so the old testament was a training in how to please God with our sacrifice, and only the ones acceptable by God, which he taught. There is no need to keep these rituals by the Jews or anyone else because Jesus is the sacrifice that takes away the sins of the world.. God said so!!! Our sacrifices now are to be our praises coming from mouths that speak his name and sincere humble hearts and the willingness to following and doing his will and keeping his commandments!! Sincere praise! Sincere and humble hearts!! Love for God and our fellow man. Holiness, righteousness faithfulness as He is!!! Our Praise to God and living according to his word is what He requires of his followers, His people, called by His name!!! His church, His chosen!! We are to walk in the light of the world and Jesus is the way the truth and the life,.Jesus is the light of the world and the only way to God the father and eternal life!! For all people, regardless of race color or creed or nationality or religious sect. -
Let me keep this plain and simple:: God said, if you love me, than keep my commandments. Solomon ask God for wisdom and God gave him wisdom. His wisdom should have told him that he did not need to marry for political gain. His God would have supplied all his needs and more!!! God choose him for his purpose and he does not need any help to accomplish what he sets out to do!!! God wants total dependence on him. Solomon allowed the evil one,Satan, to tempt him with pride and ****, away from God and from doing his will! Now it is all about Solomon, and his will. God would have given Solomon everything that he needed without him marrying ANYONE!!! This applies to us today as well. God's word never changes. We may change, the world may change, but God's word stands forever!!! He is not going to change it to accommodate us!! From generation to generation, ever-lasting, to ever-lasting! His way is the only way his word is the only word... We can not serve two gods!!! Our God is a Jealous God and will not allow anyone or thing come before him. Choose this day who you will serve!! We are trying to be inclusive and not deny anyone's freedom to be or not to be . Citizen of the world or citizen in the kingdom of God?? Who do you choose and where are you spending eternity??? God has give instructions on how to be in his kingdom. It has not changed and will not ever change!! We need to make a change! It is a personal relationship!!

God created man to worship him. We are all his creation. When sin came into the world, by choosing to be disobedient, we were separated from God and out of his will. God sent his son Jesus to die for our sin so we would have a way to get back in the right standing with God. God loves everyone of his creation and does not want to loose any one of us. Just as he is righteous and fair, even when we sin, when we ask for forgiveness, he forgives.. if he can do it for us, we should be able to do it for others. We are all made from the same dust and breath of God. We are his creation. None of us are deserving for we are sinners, but it is by the mercy and grace of God that we have a chance at eternal life in the kingdom with him! It is because of his love for us, his creation, that when we choose to be rightousness and holy and follow his commandments, we can extend the same kindness and forgives to all mankind!! Treat others as we want to be treated, regardless of our have or have nots!!! Jesus came as a lowly servant to show that we are all welcomed in the kingdom!! If we choose to follow him and be obedient to God! This world is the place where Satan resides and is working his evil to separate us from God!! Yield not to temptation for it is a sin!!!! Come out of Babylon, the world of sin and walk and live in the light of Jesus who is our Savior! Although we are in the world we do not have to live in sin as the world does.. We can choose to walk in the light of Jesus and be saved from the evil of this world!!! for every evil there is a righteous!!! There are those in our government and high places who are doing right and doing the will of God, but we choose to focus and bring attention on the evil rather than the good!!! We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and light his light shine through the darkness of this evil world!!!

Bonus: Ethics
Paula Price replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Solomon’s Path to Kingship (1 Kings 1-2)
We as Christians have a personal relationship with God, we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We are in a covenant relationship so we are bound by the commandments of God!! We are not responsible for the sins of others. God commands us to Love our enemies. There are no conditions , no buts, or what if's. We are accountable to God for our actions. We are to obey his commandments. Jesus did not break any government laws while here on earth. We are to follow his example. We do what he say do!! We are not of the world. We have been called out of the darkness into Christ's marvelous light. We live by faith so we are accountable to God and not man!!! With out quoting scriptures, we, who are God's chosen, know that we are to obey his every word and walk in his light. The word of God tells us to obey our goverment officials for they were appointed my him.. We are being obedient to God when we are obedient to the laws of the land. We are to have faith in God to order or steps by the Holy Spirit that leads us and guides us into all things that are holy and righteous according to the will of God. As we walk and live in this world, we have to continually pray for God to protect us and deliver us from the evil one.. In the Lord's prayer before going to the cross, (John 17?) Jesus ask the father to protect his disciples, not the world. He prayed not for the world but for those who were chosen and who followed him. He prayed to his father to protect them from the evil one of this fallen world. We are included in this prayer for protection as we are in this world. We are to pray daily not to be lead into temptation and to be delivered from all evil.. Love is the key word....Jesus is love. He said if you love me than keep my commandments. It is because of his love for us that we share in his inheritance of Salvation. Amen -
Q1. Cause of Affliction
Paula Price replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 18. Healing Blindness (John 9:1-41)
Sin is the result of Adam and Eve's disobedience in the garden of Eden. From that day till this day it has been in the world. But God has made a way for man to redeem himself from sin and to be reconciled back to him. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. When we repent of ours sins and accept Jesus as our Savior and we are baptized, and walk in holiness and do the will of God, God promised us eternal life.. The good things that comes out of affliction, Of the godly is that God can use them for his glory, that others might see and be drawn back to him also. God has always use the less than perfect and the weak or the lowly, or those who we think are not worthy, to make his presence known and to show his power and his glory! Jesus said that he came not for the righteous, but for the sinners, those who are lost and walking in darkness. A well and whole person does not need a doctor. They are just to continue walking in the light. And directing and helping others to do the same. -
" John 3:16-17- " for God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son to condemn the world, but that the world, through him might be saved." Romans 10:9-10-" if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the death, you will be saved. For with the heart ones believes unto rightousness, and with the mouth confession is made into salvation. " God worked miracles as evident in the old testament and through Jesus in the new testament, to show his power and his glory, that those seeing would believe, repent and live accordingly, believing and trusting and depending in him and one him as their God who provides and saves. We do not see those kind of miracles today, however, he still does miracle in the hearts and the lives of his believers. Jesus said unless you see miracles ,you don't believe.. Would you still believe, without seeing miracles??? That is what FAITH is... Abraham and the prophets did not live to see the promises that God gave them but they continued doing his will based on their faith, their belief that he would do what he promised. We have to do the same. Standing on the Promises of God!! Are you standing?? Or do you give up because you don't see the miracle you ask for?? can you still follow and believe in Jesus, believe in God without a miracle??? Would you recognize a miracle when you see one?? They are evident ever where you look!!! We live and have our being, only by the grace of God!!! We don't deserve it!!! Nothing we do can obtain it!! It is a gift, freely given by God, for he loves us so! Do you believe??? God' s GRACE is a miracle all by it self!! Mankind is a miracle.....this world.and everything in the cosmos, the heaves... Miracles!!!! Do you understand how we exist???? God is a Mystery! His Wonders to behold!!! Belief is the key. Grace is the miracle.

Q30. Sufficient Grace
Paula Price replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7. Finding Grace in Times of Need
It is when we are weak that God uses us to show His Glory, His Power, His Might, least we boast of ourselves!!! God always uses the imperfect to manifest his Glory through us. We are mere human flesh, but God is Spiritual and works his wonders through our flesh so all will see and believe in Him! God's Grace is more than enough to accomplish anything ! He said so!! He has proven it in His word from Genesis to Revelation!!!.. There are no limits in God's Grace for those who trust and believe!! -
Q4. Savior of the World
Paula Price replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 9. The Fields Are Ripe for Harvest (John 4:27-42)
Jesus stayed in Samaria because it was the Father's will for him to stay. He always stated that he does nothing of himself, but only what his Father tells him to do. "(Not my will, but your will O God, be done)". It was his mission to preach salvation to them..the disciples were only to the Jews because the were of the Jewish fate and would understand that they were the chosen people. They were to help bring back the Jewish people to their chosen God. They would not have understood that Jesus was called to preach Salvation to non Jewish and the whole world also. This is still all new and fresh to them. They did understand that their was a lost tribe of the people who needed to returned to the God of their fathers so they were told only to preach to them. That was their mission until further instructions from God. John 3:16-17 explains the rest of this question!!! -

Mark 3:9 states that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable which is the only sin God does not forgive. This verse was spoken to the Pharisees for their unbelief in Jesus as the son of God. They said that Jesus was using the power of Satan to perform miracles. They did not believe and spoke against the Holy Spirit, which in truth is God himself. "In the beginning was the word and the word was God." Jesus is the word of God, in the flesh. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, are one and the same..because God said so!!! If you don't believe it and speak against it, that is Blasphemy.. To continue in this and never repent, is unforgivable. We see how Saul was saved on the road to Damascus by God, even though he was persecuting Christians. God revealed Himself to Saul and used him to preach to the Gentiles the gospel of Jesus!!! When Saul heard God's voice, God changed his heart for His Glory!!! He was forgiven and saved from blasphemy!!! If we do not repent, turn from sin and sin no more, we are lost!!! Only those who have pure hearts shall see God!! To blasphemy against God, the Holy Spirit, is unforgivable!!! To continue in unbelief and to deny His existence and speak against Him , is unforgivable!!

Jesus is the example of all these. He showed humility, he had power, and confidence in speech. We are to follow in the example Jesus left us. We, too, have the same , as we stay in the grace of God. He said so..the Holy Spirit was promised to us ,to teach ,lead and guide us to do the will of the Father. He will strengthen us and help us. Jesus tells the disciples that he only does the will of his father who sent him. It is not about us, saints of God , so let us stop interjecting our thoughts and plans and will. We are to do God's will, Just as Jesus did, with humility, power and confidence. John the Baptist was born to prepare the way for The Messiah, his cousin, to tell the Jews to repent and return to God. I often wonder about the leaders of the Jewish people those who kept the law of Moses, those who had all the questions. They read the same scriptures and quoted the same scriptures and studied the same Scripture of Isaiah and all the other prophets which Jesus often quoted back to them that answers their own questions!; who did they think their law and scriptures spoke of??? They claimed to believe the scriptures but yet they did not accept the one the scriptures spoke of!! John the Baptist did what he was born to do . he preached reference of sin. He baptized by water which was to make clean and then you were to live a sinless life. You were reconciled back to God. Jesus was the sacrificial lamb whose blood was shed for our salvation. That was what God taught his people in the old law on how to worship and be forgiven of sin. When Jesus healed he would say "you are healed, ( forgiven) go, and sin no more". He preached the gospel of salvation, repentance from sin and be made right with God the father. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. There is no other name or way to heaven, to God, then throught the Son.. Amen... Do you believe???

Yes, Jesus is God as the word of God, to be made in flesh for mankind sake, so we can see him as we see our human form. No man can look upon God and live. That is why he spoke through the prophets. Jesus is God in the form of the word he speaks to us. We see Jesus ,we see God. They are one and the same. God said so. Jesus tells his disciples when you see me you see the one who sent me.

The blessings are to all believers in Jesus Christ who are baptised and redeemed by the blood of the lamb through faith! It is because of Abrahams obedience to God and his faith in him and his trust in him that we too are heirs to the promise!. No greater love!..Just as God sacrificed is only son, Abraham was willing to do the same! Bless Isaac for he was as obedient and trusting as his father! A willing sacrifice!! Hallelujah! It was a test of faith!
