  1. What caused Israel’s barrenness in Jesus’ time? What keeps the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) from growing and maturing in our lives? What can we disciples learn from the Parable of the Barren Fig Tree? The love of the world and the pride of life caused israels barrenness The state of our heart determine if we would produce or how much fruit we produce. Being saturated by the word of God is the solution to the barren life. Grace is not a licence to be unproductive.
  2. Q1. (Luke 15:1-10) What do the Parables of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin teach disciples about God’s heart? In what way do these parables represent a contrast to the murmuring of the Pharisees? How should a disciple implement Jesus’ value of seeking the lost in his or her own community? Quest 1:The parable teaches us to place priority of the unsaved and not to think that anyone can't be saved or give up on them. The gospel of christ is the power to save we do the acting and God’s mighty power perfects the job, does the conviction. Amen. Quest:2 It contrast their philosophy in several ways. No1: it contrast their pride. A Shepherd ought to be humble. No 2: it contrast their philosophy of the righteous remaining righteous and the sinful remaining sinful. No 3: contrast to their understanding God is not wanting to devour sinners though he hate sin yet its God's will that non perish but come to the knowledge of the Son of God. Amen. Quest 3: Every believer should be ready to maximise every opportunity around him or her or in whatever sphere or capacity God had placed us to reach to the lost. For example are you a doctor? It's an opportunity to reach out to lost doctor, our talent and gift is to profit the kingdom.
  3. John 3:16) How does John 3:16 display “favor that is neither earned or deserved” without using the word ‘grace’? What is the relationship between grace and giving? What motivates the gift in this verse? How does this relate to grace? John 3:16 displays favor that is neither earned or deserved as the father gave up his son on the cross, as a sacrifice, favor was displayed by giving. Relationship between grace and giving is love. What motivates the gift is an intense degree of love from an holy God to undeserving sinners who are treading on a way of perdition a way that leads to destruction. Because it is unilateral one sided we don't deserve it.... It's at the owners disposition. Quote
  4. . (Romans 5:6-8) What do verses 6-8 say about humankind’s situation? What is so remarkable about Christ’s death for us? What motivates that sacrifice human situation was at his worst, we were sinners, ungodly, morally decayed. but what's so remarkable about Christ death is that even in this chaotic stage of humanity he died for us, not because we are good people but because of God's grace. what motivated this sacrifice is his love , for God so love the world John 3:16.....also... Husband love your wife even as Christ Love the church and gave himself for it.
  5. Q5. (Romans 5:1-2) What does it mean to be in a state of grace? According to the text, what is the role of faith in this? What is the opposite of "peace with God"? TI be in a state of grace means to be at peace with God, to be in favor with God. The role of faith is to grant us access into this grace through the blood of his only son Jesus Christ. The opposite of the peace of God is the wrath of God According to Ephesians 2:3....... children of wrath.
  6. Q4. (Hosea 1-3) Why does Yahweh tell his prophet to marry a girl of ill repute? What does the story of Hosea and Gomer teach us? How does the story illustrate God’s relationship with Israel? What does it teach about grace God told his servant to Marry a ill repute girl so as to illustrate is relationship with a ill repute people, nation and generation. The story of Hosea and gomer teaches us what God really expect from us in our marriages, our àttitude our response.I About grace it teaches us how God continue to be the one who makes the move, who reaches out, who empowers, is disposition towards man, his quality of benevolence of favouring the inferior, his non obligation towards us but that he favours us of his own good will, discretion. He owe us nothing but we owe him all.
  7. Q2. (Exodus 34:6) What do we learn about Yahweh's character in his self-revelation to Moses on Mount Sinai? What does this have to do with grace? I learnt about God character has been a God of grace and deals with humanity in his grace which is culminated in his love towards humanity. God character can only be extended to us through his grace, all that pertaineth to life and godliness is made available to us by his grace.......in that grace lies all the enablement for humanity to replicate his character.
  8. Grace differs from wages because it's a quality of benevolence that gives favor to inferiors. It comes solely at the discretion of the giver it's not an obligation. on the other hand wages comes as a result of what you've worked for or deserve A working definition of God's grace is that , grace is an undeserved favour, it is not earned. grace characterize God in his love shown to humanity by sending us his only son to die for our sin we being children of wrath he made peace with us and translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.
  9. Q18. (Colossians 1:15-20) Which of Christ’s qualities of preeminence and greatness is especially meaningful to you? What does it mean for Jesus to humble himself (Philippians 2:7-8). Why is the incarnation such a miracle? ¶ The summation of it all the fact that all all of God's fullness of the father dwells in him is outstanding to me because whosoever would house God in such manner must be more than just a man. ¶ For Jesus to humble himself means He stirpped off himself of all privileges and titles and became an ordinary man... Infact that God could come in man's nature is the greatest show of humility. ¶ it's a big miracle because it by pass human laws. It shows how unlimited God is, only man can be limited but He is a Spirit...even the devil was dumbfounded.
  10. Q16. (Luke 2:8-14) Why do you think the angels shocked the shepherds with their radiant glory? Why not something more low-key? What is the content of the good news? What allows the shepherds to authenticate this news? ANSWER ¶ The angels shocked the shepherd with their radiant glory because, the presence of an angel is always terrifying and throughout the scriptures everyone who had encounterd the Angel of the lord in one way or the other were terrified same with Mary and zechariah. because there is something the glory of the lord does to our frail or corrupted human nature it's repugnant to it and can't stand it, so was Isaiah when he saw God's glory he realized that he wasn't worthy. ¶ It can't be something more low key because this is an event that will forever change the course of the world and event that will forever change the faith of man and moreover this is the birth of the lord of glory himself. ¶ The content of the good news is PEACE Romans 5 and Eph 2 let us know that we were in time past children of wrath but have obtained peace through our faith in the finished work of Christ. ¶ That He was born in a manger and that he was wrapped in a swindling clothe.
  11. By not being an active part of a local congregation we miss out his fullness because the fullness of Christ is the body the entirety, the church the totality of the called out ones....we are severed from what flows from the head down to the body. Ephesians 4:8, 11-16 (KJV) Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. We rob the body it's fullness and perfection

  13. Consecrated and separated as his possession in Christ Jesus..... Holy the same Greek word as saint , I walk holy by walking in the light of his word.
  14. The scary thing is that we cannot fully wrap our mind around it, it determine our destiny even before we came to existence, The comforting thing is that we are sure of our place in Christ, individually and coperately we aren't a mistake. Paul brought it up so as to assure the gentile church of their position in Christ.
