We are temted to break God's commandments , when we are faced with the laws of land such as jail time ,stealing,and killing. More over when we place wealth,success ,above God. Socializing with people that will lead us sin , by trying to gain social status recognition.

God declared to David. Before Solomon's birth that a son would be born to him,and that his name would be Solomon, and that this one would build a house to his name and will firmly establish kingship forever David fulfill the oath and swore to the God of Israel that Solomon shall reign after him. He shall sit on his Throne in his place, and make him ruler of Israel and Judah. Nathan carries God's message to David and Nathan had a duty to protect Solomon's kingship and stop David to build the Temple.

God declare to David he is not the one to build the Temple. He will make one of his sons a king and will keep his kingdom strong. He will be the one to build a Temple for Him , and will firmly establish his kingship forever
