  1. Q1. (Acts 9:30; Galatians 1:15-17) Why do ambitious Christians struggle so much when they don't seem to be doing anything important? *The formation of trusting in the Lord and not leaning on our own understanding is taught to us in real time and it takes time. Why is patience with God's plan so important to growth? *I see patience as an application of internal strength it is a power that we must incur in that time to allow God to be all that he is in us Why is a period of spiritual formation so important to future leadership? *It is truly receiving a whole new life perspective and purpose to learn that are whole beings, revolves around God's will God's purpose and God's good pleasure is certainly a true reset To listening for God's voice? *Trusting and discerning God's voice and also the enemies place in this world controlled by him is always a battle and yet we must learn to trust in the one who loves us.
  2. Q4. (Philippians 3:9; Genesis 15:6; Habakkuk 2:4) Abraham had been a moon-worshipper. According to Genesis 15:6, how does he come into right relationship with the God who created all? How can a person today become righteous by faith? What is involved in really “trusting” Christ? God revealed himself to Abraham and as one how sees someone, eye to eye not equal but reverently Abraham saw God as irresistible. Kinda the same way. Believing God's love for you is revealed by the truth of who the promised one of God is and surrendering your ways to Christ's ways.
  3. Q3. (Philippians 3:7-8) How do legalism and the resulting spiritual pride prevent us from trusting in Christ by faith, and knowing him? How has your pride in yourself kept you from drawing closer to Jesus? Christ completes all our requirements, his righteousness and life are what we receive as believers. From death to eternal life, by grace through faith. When ever I see that I don't know as much as I think I do, especially in God's faithfulness and his trustworthiness.
  4. Q2. (Acts 9:10-18) Why do you think God sends Ananias to Paul rather than revealing directly? Paul's journey requires guidance and verifying confirmation continually Why does Ananias argue with God? He is in real-time survival mode, that Paul has authority to arrest him Why does it take courage to obey? As we are challenged we are being changed What does Ananias do and say? Follows God's instructions having been told all that he was to do. Addresses him as brother, lays hand's on him, shares God's words for him, Baptism and feeds. Have you ever had God guide you to talk with someone and minister to him or her? Yes Have you followed through? Yes
  5. So it's a new view looking at the church and it's followers as Jesus himself. I will be changed forever by that and being goaded by God to go, do or say yes is kinda why I'm in this study. I believe the love of God for us in Christ Jesus is all about knowing who he is and all he is, in all of life's experiences, God is faithful and trustworthy to know all that it takes for us to come and walk in step with him, a perfect journey and different for each of us.
  6. Hello all, I'm Jack from outside of Denver, Colorado. Following the Lord's leading and getting equipped to enjoy his life at work in me. Retired from having to work now getting to be kinda responsible for all family that calls Colorado home. To say the least I'm blessed among the living and am looking forward to getting to know Paul better as a Passionate Disciple.
