Q3. God's View of Adultery
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #2. Sarah's Abduction (Genesis 12:10-20 and 20:1-18)
God hate Adultery. Can God for give Adultery? Yes He can. But you have to Repentance. It is so wrong for a man or a woman to go outside of their marriage. Adultery is a sin in God's eyes. Thank God that He has forgave us of our sins when He went to the Cross. Glory to God. -
Abraham and his family could have been hurt or killed. Abraham was in a new land. People move for a better life. When someone move into your community I think the Church should welcome them. Invite them to their church. make them feel welcome. We should show love to them. As Christians we show love.

Q4. Calling on the Name of the Lord
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #1. The Call of Abraham (Genesis 11:27-12:9)
Abraham trust was in the Lord. I call on the Lord because I know He will be there when I need Him.I know what He is to me. I call on Him to give Him thanks and to give Him the praise. I love to glorylfy His name. I put all my trust in the Lord. -
When God called me to do His work I did not fear because I knew that I had to step out on faith. I put my faith in Jesus. The all powerful one. I had to walk by faith and not by sight. I had to be like Abraham. Not knowing where I was going, I just had to go. So if God call you to do something, Step Out In FAITH.

millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #11. He Cares for You (5:8-14)
They are telling us to Resist the Devil. To stand firm, and put on the whole armor of God. The Scriptures are similar. -
Satan is real today. We better know that he existiance here on this earth. He is walking here and there keeping up more trouble that he can keep up. We must be able to recognition him. He has many faces. But satan is the enemy and we better know it. If you do not have Christ in your life you are lost. Satan know it better than any one else. We must be praying at all times. And trusting in Jesus.

Q1. Dealing with Your Fears
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #11. He Cares for You (5:8-14)
I cast all of my fears to the Lord. The Bible tell me He will be there, even till the end of time. Jesus died for me. I know He loves me. I can trust Him with all of my problems. Because if I put my trust in Him I will come out in victory. Jesus can work out any problems that we have. Just turn them over to Him. -
Q3. Preventing Power-Mongering
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #10. Leading with Humility (5:1-7)
I Believe when there is a Pastor Position open and it need to be filled I think you need to go to God in prayer and pray over it. If this is the right person for to pastor that Church. -
Some one who is forced to take leadership in a church, I myself do not think they would make a very good leader. They would not care one way or another how good a leader He/she make because they did not want the position anyway. That is a shame when you have to twist someone arms to do something for Jesus and they half step doing it for Him. But someone who want to do something for Jesus never get asked. I have seen it happen too often. Or they will serve once or twice and never come back again.

Q1. Responsibilities of an Elder
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #10. Leading with Humility (5:1-7)
To me it all has the same meaning. feeding the word of God to the people. That is what the Pastor, the Elder does and the Overseers. Or anyone else that has been called by God. -
Q2. Resisting Temptations to Sin
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #8. Serving God in Everything (4:1-11)
Satan is on his job. Trying to get the Christians to sin. There are weak Christians who let Non Christians talk them in to doing things they are not support to be doing. I do not care how you call it Sin is Sin. Non - Christians do not know who Jesus is. They have never tried Him, because if they did know Him they would get out of SIN. He died for our sins. We that know Him know who He is, and we been washed by the blood of the Lamb. -
Q1. Submission
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #6. Living as Christian Husbands and Wives (1 Peter 3:1-7)
The reason why we do not want to submission ourself because we do not want to listen, When God is talking to us we do not want to listen. We want to keep doing things own our on. When we go againt God than our submission is wrong. I believe that a man and woman who are marriage should respect one another. Let God be in their marriage, -
We live in a world where sin is all around. But Jesus went to the Cross for our sins. He bore our sins in His body. Every day we struggle with sin. Satan wants us to slip and fall in his trap. You know all he wants to do is destroy and kill. We must die to sin. So take up your cross and follow Jesus. Satan is on his job. Do not let satan get to you.
-
Jesus was sinless. But he took on my sins when He died on the cross for. Jesus gave me the wonderful gift of salvation. I thank Him for going up on that Cross for me. God so loved the world that HE GAVE his only Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. He washed away my sins, with His precious blood. Thank you Jesus.

Q1. God's Glory
millie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #4 Submitting and Suffering Like Jesus (1 Pet 2:13-23)
God want's us to live right. We are to be obedient to God and also to give God all the praise and glory. We should learn how to please God As Christians we need to get acquainted with God. When we is disobedient we hurt God. We hurt His purpose for our lives. When we are submissive and obedient we show the unsaved who God is. We let His light shine through us. -
