QUEST.4. AS WE BECOME DEEPER INVOLVED IN MID EAST POLITICS IT IS "PEACE" WHICH IS THE TOPIC OF DISCUSSION . UNREST IS BECOMING WORSE BY THE DAY .END TIMES PROPHECY SAQYS THAT ONE WILL ARISE AND BRING US PEACE. THE WORLD WILL ACCEPT THIS PERSON AND BEGIN TO WORSHIP HIM. THE UNHOLY TRINITY WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO LEAD PEOPLE AWAY FROM GOD. THEY DO THIS BY GIVING AN IMITATION OF EVERYTHING HOLY TRINITY HAS ALREADY DONE. SIGNS, MIRACLES FALSE DEATH AND RESSURECTION, PEACE -- ALL DONE TO LEAD PEOPLE AWAY FROM JESUS CHRIST. THE WORLD IS SLOWLY REACHING THE POINT AT WHICH ALL THE THINGS JESUS SPOKE ABOUT ARE BECOMING REALITY.

QUEST 3 . A. IT MEANS THAT SATAN IS NO LONGER OUR ACCUSER. HE HAS BEEN THROWN OUT OF HEAVEN AND THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL ARE NOW SAFE. B. SATAN HAS BEEN OVERCOME. C.WE HAVE VICTORY OF ETERNAL LIFE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD. D. WHEN WE BELIEVE AND CONFESS JESUS AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR WE ARE COVERED BY THE BLOOD THAT JESUS SHED ON THE CROSS. HE WAS THE SACRIFICE THAT GOD REQUIRES TO HAVE OUR SINS TAKEN AWAY. OTHERWISE WITH OUR SINS WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO COME INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD. E. JESUS SAYS THAT THOSE WHO LOVE THEIR LIFE WILL LOSE IT. AND THOSE WHO HATE THEIR LIFE WILL BE REWARDED WITH ETERNAL LIFE. THE REASON IS THAT THE CREATION BECOMES MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CREATOR. WE PUT OUR POSSESIONS AHEAD OF GOD. WE THEN ARE WORSHIPPING IDOLS . GOD CAN'T ABIDE BY THAT.

ALL THESE THINGS WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO.STAND FIRM REGARDLESS OF THE CONSEQUENCES.

quest.2. We worshiop a triune God Just as everything is in relation to the throne of God , the church is built around the altar. It is made up of the priesthood of believers. Elders are leaders both around the throne and in our churches. Singing. Praising God. Prayer. Lamb of God ,sacrificed for mans sin and praised because He alone is worthy. All creatures whoo ever lived will one day bow down before Christ and know that He is Lord of all. Chanting.

quest.5 a the churches were praised for their steadfastness in preaching and standing true to the word amid trials and persecution. H e condemned them because they had left that first love. onlu one church did not receive a commendation . the church of Laodicea. only two did not receive a word of condemnation Philadelphia and Smyrna. Because the church of today is trying to be all things to all people they are preaching a watered down version of the Gospel. We had better get back to preaching the true word. We need to get hot. The two who received no condemnationwere two of the most persecuted churches and the time when the church grew the most. The time is coming when we will be facing the same persecution and we had better be prepared for that time.We will need to be able to stand up and say "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. I will not deny Him"l

quest.4 ,a.apathy is defined in websters dictionaryas "lack of interest , enthusiasm,and feeling.unfeeling and indifferent."Christ defined the church of Laodicea as lukewarm neither hot or cold. they were worldly wealthy (as we are) there were many churches (as we have) but there was a lack of preaching the true gospel(as in most of our mainline churchs),they had education (aswe have today), they tried to change things by passing laws(as we do today) instead of changing ourselves because we believe the word of God. in other words the Zeal for god wasn't there.as it is in most denominations. b.by preaching Christ's life,death and resurrection and the hope and grace it gives us.

q.3.a.We believe tha certain practices are wrong. We must eat to stay alive. Truct in God to provide or truct in the c.e.o. to provide.It is a battle between the physical and the spiritual. Generally a man will choose to feed his family knowing what he is doing is wrong. spiritually destructive. b.the compromuises I see are being forced on us by activist judges, No Christioan symbols in school or on the court house lawn. Its ok to murder 40million babies . Its ok to recognize marriage between same sex people. We compromise when we do not speak out. sin is sin and all the decisions by our courts will never change it . c.By saying there is nothing we can do we comprimise our faith..If we let it go on as it has we will be like the churches in Sweden. You can't say it s a sin from the pulpit.

q.2.a Aldous Huxley was an ardent evolutionist and former head of UNESCO a UN Organization.He was asked in a t.v. interview whay evolution was so widely accepted. He didn't say because it is a scientific fact . No he said it is so widely accepted because the idea of God interferes with our sexual mores . Since evolution is being taught to ourchildren in k to through college and since evoljution is totally anti christian in belief the sexual mores in our country have put us in jeopardy. The church has not spoken out as a single unit against this apostacy . The church is under attack and we are seeing the effects of it . b.As you will see in the coming weeks I am not quiet about my faith in Jesus Christ as My savior.

q1 a.you can have enthusiasm without knowlege of God but you need both to maintain yopu zeal . when you think the liturgy will do it all you are becooming complacent and do not have the desire to go tell it to everyone you see. b.love for one another and the desire to tell others about Jesus in your life. c.the church begins to lose members and there is little activity in it. no new members. the congregation is not being fed spiritually. d. it all starts with scripture . study it and understand it and then start telling everyone you see about the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ and what it means to them.

Question 5. the lampstands signify not only the 7 churches of asia but all his churches and Jesus stands among them . He is with them to protect ,guide and councel them. They are his bride and he will protect them as a husband should protect his wife. Jesus is eternal and steadfast and will be with us thru all

Quest. 4. It is inteded to show Jhns readers who Jesus really is. He is not the cuddly baby of Christmas. He is not thegrossly beaten and flayed person who died on the cross . He is now the conqueror of death and sin and Judge of all who ever lived.After his ascension Jesus took his rightful place beside God and is now the king of the universe..It is with awe ,admiration and reverence that we should look upon him. Not sure what is meant by a ballanced faith . but I'll answer best I can. ON earth Jesus was 100% Man and 100% God. We admire him for being able to withstand temptation and sin as man and his willingness to be crucified for us as the Lamb of God. Now in heaven He is still working foruis as our arbitrator.

Q.3several hundred thousand persecuted in China,over 2 million in the sudan, thousands in india. Noone in arabian muslem countries is allowed to practice their faith. kust as Christ overcame suffering and crucifixion , he gives us through faith , the power and endurance to overcome anything the world can give us. He promises that we will be given nothing we can't overcome.

I am wallyb. I am 74 years old and have been a Christian all my life . My parents brought me up in the Lutheran faith.Both my wife and I still share that faith although no longer in the ELCA. We are now in the Missouri Lutheran church because after years of fighting the apostasy in the Elca we wanted to be with those who believe as we do , that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. I love Gods word and I love to study it. The new approach to Revelations intrigued me and I think I will get a great deal of good from this version. I don"t know how I ended up in Gideon Bible study . I was just trying to register for Revelations.
