because we can get so busy with things of the world, we get off track of things of God. we're tempted to let something unworthy into our lives thinging we're in control and it won't get out of hand. Just a tiny sin won't hurt. But that tiny sin grows into a monster we have no contol over.

we acknowledge his rightous, glory and dominion over all. e is worthy of all praise and glory. It makes me feel closer to God to praise him even when things arn't going well in my life.

He wanted to show that even though he was acting under the law and considered rightous by those enforcing it, he was committing a sin in gods eyes. He wanted to show no matter how great our sin, if we repent and ask forgiveness we can be saved by grace not by our works.

I hesitate to reply as many others have mentioned the points I would have brought up . I beleive in our times there is so much false doctirne and teachers that un-beleivers shy away from getting involved. They feel if we can't agree what is in it for them. I know for many years I avoided going to church even though I was saved because of hypocrisy.
