  1. Q4. (Romans 5:9-11) What does "reconciliation" mean? Why is reconciliation with God necessary? We understand our having been saved by Jesus' death (5:10a, past tense). In what sense are we being saved (5:10b, present tense) by his life? What is Jesus doing for us in the present? Reconciilation means to come in agreement with the antagonist. Reconcilation is the ground that we base our relaion with God. We all sinned and come short of Glory of God. God is angry with all of us because of all our sinnful deeds. as a result , we have been under the judgement seat of His throne , and the verdict was Death. we have , in turn, have no single evidence to present to prove our innocency. God is just , hence, we should receive our vierdict. BUT GLORY TO HIS NAME , God has send His only beggotten Son to to take the verdict in our place. He has taken all the suffering and lead into death in terms of us to death , But raised the third day and seat in the right of his Father Throne. hence God made everyone who belives in His Son as his personal saviour justified.
