  1. This type of a person is against the type of person we are to be in Christ. let alone a leader in the church.
  2. A person who is faithful to his wife, will be faithful to the church. Paul was looking for such a person. A person who can handle his household keeping his children form being rebellious will have a better idea of guiding the church
  3. They were full of anger. They were looking like all is right and full of the love of Christ. But there hand raising was just for show because there hearts were fill with anger. If I am raising my hand and making it look like I am in worship. Yet I have an anger with someone. I can not recieve the joy that worship brings nor will Christ see me he will turn his head
  4. He wanted them to remember that there is only one way to be with God and it is through Jesus. Jesus is the bridge between God and us He made that possible by his death as the payment for our sins
  5. God wants all to be saved all to come to repentance. They had forgot about that and were wanting it to me a by inventation only club
  6. To listen and hear God when he speaks to me, To obedient to him even if I dont want to. To look to him adn seek guidance that I may hear good job fateful servent
  7. it tells me by needing a drink or that he was thirsty, that he was human he we going through great pain for us, even as we were sinners. Jesus was living and dieing to fulfill what was writen
  8. Q4. (Mark 15:34) What does Jesus' Fourth Word from the Cross teach us about faith? About commitment? About love? What effect should this understanding have on our lives? Jesus knew what was going to happen and he had the perfect faith to go on with this cup God had for him. It teaches me that I need to have that kind of faith in my daily life, knowing that God will take care of me. Today's commitment are not what they once were we need to have lawyers and contracts ect. why because we do not have the commitment of Jesus. Jesus was so committed to God and us he was willing to be alone for the first time. We need to use that kind of commitment in all parts of our life's Love what a showing of love Jesus did for us. know what he did. The beating the walk, nailing and the hanging on the cross. He did all that out of his love for God and us. For me when I am tempted and I remember what he went through for me it reminds me of the cost for my salvation, We must remember to what Jesus did for us even as we were sinners.
  9. Jesus was making sure his mother was taken care of when he was gone. Why John I am not sure. This tell us that Jesus even when he was dying he was thinking of others and at this time it was his mom. Some of the hardest to please and live with is our family this teaches us to make sure we love them and when we are interacting with them we do so with the love of Jesus
  10. Being a thief people think they are not able to have faith. He did and he told Jesus who brought his lost sheep back into his flock at that very instinct.
  11. The reason Jesus came to the world was to be our mediator He spoke of it often. He lived a sinless life and gave his blood as a ransom for us.
  12. Paul wanted salvation for all because it is what God wanted. That all who believes in him will be saved I would say by the letter that it was not going on.
  13. It is easy sometimes to forget that even it a task seams so great so big that we tend to back away from it. Paul was reminding him do back down. He has been called to this work. lastly he is reminding him not to be swayed to stand firm in the faith so he is not broght to the other side
  14. what did I learn that God is unseen, forever, immortal, and is teh only God. Yes I do tho I dont think it sounds so good when I do it. It makes me feel humble and reminds me I am me and God is God
