Q1. (Luke 23:34) Who was most responsible for killing Jesus? What responsibility do you and I bear in this? In what sense was Jesus praying for us? We all carry the burden of responsibility for killing Jesus through our sinful nature. Jesus' only purpose in dying was to be a sacrifice for our sins and for our redemption. I personally contribute to his suffering and death every time I choose to go off the path that Jesus so clearly set before us. Through confession of sin, repentence and following Jesus more closely, I bring closure to Jesus death and live in unity with him.
