  1. We are sinners. "For if you forgive people their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses." Amp. Matthew 6:14-15 Jesus told his disciples "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Amp. Matthew 5:44. It is made clear in verse 45 in order to be sons (children) of the Father, we must forgive. If not, He will not forgive us. One way that we block God's forgiveness and blessings is by not forgiving someone, because then we are not forgiven. If we aren't free to forgive, then we are in bondage to sin and hate which pleases Satan and NOT God.
  2. Many people are taught from an early age that they must be self-sufficient. If you don't take care of yourself, no one else will. We don't want to be dependent on anyone else, for fear? For pride? Or maybe we just don't know how? God wants to be completely involved in our lives, for we are his children. We should pray and ask for God to "Give us today our daily bread" because first, He is our Creator. He created a complete world with an atmosphere and food necessary for our health and survival. Second, He is our sustainer and provider. Bottom line, we are dependent on God for all we are and all we have.
  3. God's Kingdom is somewhat three dimensional. In prayer, we ask for the Kingdom of God to be in our hearts (Luke 17:21) Do you pray for God's authority to rule over your life? We pray that we can add people to God's Kingdom (Luke 9:11) Do you pray for the Gospel to be spread worldwide and for it to be imprinted on peoples' hearts? Above all, we pray that His ultimate Kingdom will come (Psalm 103:19) Do you pray in anticipation of His return? Consequently, the Kingdom of God is inner, expanding, and eternal. If the Father's will was done here on earth, that would be a perfect world. We should walk in the will of God and the steps of Jesus. "You will know them by their fruit".
  4. Q1. What about our lives and words "hallows" the name of our Father? What desecrates and besmirches it? How should we "hallow" the Father when we begin to pray? As we live, we should strive to be the image of Jesus Christ. Praise and prayer. We must live in a way where God
