The reason why adoption is an apt illustration of God's relationship to us is because salvation was to the Jews first. When most Jews rejected Jesus the (Word), then Jesus preached to all who would listen, being us, the Gentiles. I like the concept of being adopted into the family of God. Now all believers and followers of Christ make up the body. Rolahac

To be holy means to be pure in heart and in mind. Not defile with the world. We can stand blameless before God through his Son Jesus. Once we ask for forgiveness of our sins with a sincere heart, God is just and faithful to forgive us. Then we can stand blameless before Him. Thanks, Bro. Rolahac
