5a)It’s bitter&hard for us to understand, that although God wanted all to be saved, there will be some who don’t accept Jesus as Lord, that will perish instead of choosing life in Him. b)It is sweet to know accepting Jesus that we have the Lambs protection during the end times. God has got us covered through His amazing grace : )?. c)I think we tend to reject what we find difficult and don’t like to hear or read.

Even when were feeling weak, when we speak of God with his power we can overcome any trial /enemies.3)Jesus became human, Son of man made a little lower than the heavenly beings .Christ’s majesty is superior to all else.Everthing is placed under His feet.He will raise all that belong to Him above the Heavenly beings when He comes to reign in new earth &heaven.4)We have a responsibility to be good stewards of all animals &land, birds, flocks, fish &all that swims in waters, caring for God’s creation including us, multiplying the inhabitants..

5a)The exalted Jesus walking amongst the lampstands, tells us that Jesus is in the midst of His body the bride of Christ, the church,in his power and awesome nature, watching over us. b)It reminds us that the exalted Jesus is concerned about his church, caring for his people and working through his people. He carries with him a 2 edged sword ready to bring judgement on those who do not chose to obey him or believe in him.We should seek to refect his light in our work and winess, bringing others closer to knowing Jesus. c)Jesus is more than we can know or understand, our friend, our saviour by His grace, yet awesome in wonder and majesty through work of his Spirit, unchangable, immortal, indestructable and we should worship him in spirit and truth honouring his name in how we live. -
Q4. The Exalted Christ
wifee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #1 Christ in the Midst of the Lampstands (Rev 1)
4a)John’s allusions sought to connect readers of symbolic representation of Christ among lampstands 12-20 and the angelic character who appeared to Daniel in Daniel 10:6.with their knowledge of Jesus as a carpenter-teacher. He wanted to enlarging their thoughts and image of Christ from personal, human nature. b)The emotion of wanting to worship the awesome majesty of Jesus,&serve Him,light of the world ,shining personally but also brightly&powerfully beyond ourselves.. something that we should/cannot not hide but share with others about us. c)Having both a personal relationship with Jesus as friend and saviour who came for me,but also an awareness of his divine, pure,Holy, awesome, exulted, majestic, supranatural nature and power, the way to forgiveness&everlasting life helps keep our faith balanced. I seek to worship my Lord, know more of Him each day and talk about him with others, but also conscious that people will see my faults as well, so pray that they despite my faults will see/know more of Jesus in what I do/don’t do&say. -
Q3. Comfort
wifee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #1 Christ in the Midst of the Lampstands (Rev 1)
3a)Christians are sinners saved by faith alone, however face God’s wrath as a righteous judgement when continue to sin not living as God asks us to.All countries have Christians experiencing opposition for their faith, because we are in a spiritual battle and the devil is at work everywhere undermining Christians witness everywhere. However the tribulations experienced by Christians in the Islamic countries seem to be more severe currently where people are sentenced to death. Asia, Middle East,Latin America etc. We can stand with those suffering we are aware of by our prayers upholding them for God’s strength&mercy. b)Revelation gives us hope God is sovereign, through Jesus we can be strengthened to face opposition, everlasting life is the gift of faithful endurance. Trials refine us,help us develop patience and maturity in Christ. -
Q2. Father and the Son
wifee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #1 Christ in the Midst of the Lampstands (Rev 1)
2a)It tells us the Father is the Alpha and the Omega the Beginning and the End. From him which is, and which was, and which is to come. The completeness and totality of God.The Father gives to the thirsty the water of life at no cost.Rev 4:11Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. .b)The description meanings being the same, tells us none other than God can share in the titles of God. Jesus has divine attributes, He is coming back again soon,His reward is with him, and he gives to each as he deserves,he holds the keys of hell and of death. Both the Father and Jesus are eternal and have been alive before the foundation of the world (John 17:24). The only way to the Father is through Jesus. -

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.Jesus endured the worst persecution and overcame this, even death.Through him we have salvation and hope now and forever eternal. He witnesses to us by His Spirit to our spirit, and we come to know His voice. c)Fear is powerful, when we are fearful of what people will think of us,we are constrained by it, and are more reluctant to speak of our faith. -
Q4. The Prayer of a Righteous Man
wifee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 6. Hezekiah’s Reign (Isaiah 36-39; 2 Kings 18)
4a)Hezekiah asks for healing on basis he had sought to live a faithful, godly life obeying God’s demands even when under critiscm from his peers and pressure from his opponents. "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective" (James 5:16b).He also believed that God could answer the prayers of those who fervently sought him in times of crisis, and God’s promise concerning off spring and long life for the faithful. b)God hears all our prayers and he has made promises with us to respond our prayers and petitions in faith made in line with His will Matthew 21:22If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.".As we draw close to God we know His will more closely. God honours those who obey him. "Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time." (Deuteronomy 4:40) c)All the blessings we receive from God are given because He loves us and not because we deserve them. We are all sinners saved by grace.God meets us where we are at, searches our heart.Unrighteousness or sinful behaviour, becomes a barrier between us and a loving relationship with God.God may delay his response to our prayers to refine us, cause us to grow closer to Him.Each of us know’s when we have gone off course, not lived as we should have and need to turn back to our loving, merciful Father like the prodigal son. -
