TO CHILDREN: The joy of knowing that your sins are forgiven. This is a great miracle of having your sins forgiven. TO YOUNGMEN: They are strong and they have the energy to overcome the evil one. They are strong because of the Word of God in them. David supports this by saying that youngmen can be victorious by keeping God's Word in their hearts. (Psalm 119:11). TO FATHERS: They know God from the beginning. Kowledge is power and knowledge of God is more powerful. The knowledge of God and His power is the secret of success and victory.

Hate and unforgiveness blinds us and we do not know where we are going. We need to stay ithe light always. Jesus is the Light.

The power of our confession is in the action that we take that will support what we said.Love is from God and legalism is from men. Love supercedes all. Love is God. Keeping His commandment will make us stand above all difficulties and challenges of life.

To people who feel condemned John offers reassurance. When you know that you have sinned do not give up hope, the best defence attorney is pleading your case with Jesus our Advocate. He is just and ready to forgive if we are confronted with sin.

Confession is the declaration of one's sins to God. Confession of sin is important because it relieves you from past sins. If we do not confess our sins we are making God a liar. If we confess He is faithful and just to forgive all our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Forgiveness of sins is God's action to man and cleasing is man's effort to clean himself or herself.

Christ is the light. Anyone who follws Christ follows or walks in the light. If he or she walks in darkness the light of God is not in him. He cannot in the first place call himself a Christian. It is only when we are in Christ that we can walk in the light. If you are walking in darkness you need to believe in Jesus the Light of the world so that you can walk in the light.

Reply: If we walk in darkness, the love of God is not in us. A Christian is what he or she is because of Christ. He cannot be a christian without Christ. We can get back to the light through faith in Jesus.

We can only have fellowship with christians who are born again and who walk in the light of God. There can be no fellowship if one is living in sin and in ungodliness.

REPLY There can be no true fellowship with those who reject Jesus. We can have fellowship with other christians as we have common faith, common Spirit,common gifts of the Spirit and the common enemy. It would take us to be born again and be washed by the blood of Jesus for us to have deeper level of fellowship.
