Q5. I Thirst (John 19:28)
cinderella replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in Seven Last Words of Christ from the Cross
When Jesus was on the Cross He had already suffered so much before He even got to the Cross. There was the blood loss and the beatings that had caused Him to be weakened. I believe that His words "I thirst" was for more than water but for the loss of His Father's being able to look on Him on the Cross. He thirsted for the lost fellowship even if it was only for a short time. Jesus took all this and knew that He was accomplishing something so great for mankind. It wasn't easy for Jesus to go through all this but He knew the end result so He could do what He was doing. Jesus loved us so much and loved His Father so much that He would go through everything He did. The experience on the Cross was so gruesome and so awful that only the Son of God could go through with it and die for us. An ordinary man could never have stood the pain or the suffering that Jesus did. His agony was not only physical but mental and had been planned before time began. The end result of Jesus dying on the cross brought about the saving of many lives and it was for us that He died. No other person ever sacrificed as much as Jesus did. -
we need to seek God's forgiveness continually so that we can receive the blessings from God. We cannot live our lives in u our . forgiveness without making ourselves sick. by not forgiving we block what good things he has for us. unforgiveness does not allow us to be forgiven by God for our sins./

it is because we think we can do all things without any help from God, and it is our sin nature in us that causes this. It is because of false thinking Satan has gotten us to believe that we don't need God and many have blinded eyes and blocked up ears for hearing God's word. Sometimes it is our pride and misunderstanding of what God is really about/ Just because God knows our needs already we still need to ask for our daily needs. God has given us the strength and the ability to work and it really is God who does give us our daily needs,

Q2. Kingdom and Will
cinderella replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. The Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:5-15)
when we pray for kingdom to come we are praying that the Lord will come quickly and return to earth. He is then going to reign forever and ever. we can have heaven down here on earth and we want His will to be done because it is the right way of living and we have a better life then. it is how we know we are right with God then. we should pray what Grahm Cooke calls a crafted prayer. It is asking for God's best and His will that provides the best for us. It is in line with what He has for us and then we experience the peace and the best way of life. how happy we are then -
Q1. Rebellion
cinderella replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Moses' Intercession for Israel (Exodus 32:9-14)
the people had a golden calf built while Moses was up on Mt Sinai. they were giving false gods the glory of getting them out of Egypt. and this wasnt the only thing they had done. they had dishonored God in a major way of not believing in Him or trusting Him. In the Bible they had tested and testd god time and again. Yes, because God is a just and fair God. And He had warned the people over and over. and Moses had interceded for them many times while going through the wilderness. Yes His anger was justified. It still is today when we disobey God's word and His ways Out Father intercedes for us today. -
Jesus is giving up his earthly life and his suffering into the loving hands of his Father who will now be able to comfort him and heal his broken body. he Knows where he is going after this and that he has accomplished his mission down here on earth. he also knows that because of his obedience to his father he has saved millions of lives. we know that now we have eternal life with Jesus and our Father above forever . We know He is coming back for us one day. We know that our sins have been dealt with as He died for us that day. and we can feel His love for us everyday and every moment we live/

Jesus's faith was so great that He obeyed His father even to the point of death. His faith gives us the courage to face our trial throughout the time and come out the winner His committment was totally and completey freely given. He knew from the beginning He would have to suffer and He endured all the suffering and the agonizing pain for us. His love for us was so great and so powerful that He took everything He was given for all the suffering. He did this freely and willingly. He knew us even then before we were born, and took on our sins with His great love.

it6 took great faith and courage to accomplish this task that was asked of Jesus at this time. He had to know what the end result was going to be before and it took the greatest faith to go through with it, this shows us that we can make it through the tough trials too. Jesus was totally committed to this task even unto death for us and it shows us that we can be as committed when we follow His example. Jesus' love for us was so great and His love for His father was even greater Yes, Jesus loved us enough to take on our sins even though He was sinless and not guilty of any sins ever in His life. This love is the greatest love we will ever see in our lives

he was at the cross with Mary and he was one of Jesus' favorite diciple. He knew that John would take care of His mother. Jesus loved His mother and was showing her the respect that she had showed him as a child. we nand make need to love and resprct our parents that they are taken care of in their old age

We can face each day with a bright new hope and a knowledge that is with us all the time. We need neiver fear any trial or battle we are going throug as God is on the job asready.Timidity abd brasshness are both false beliefs we have about ourselves. They come from Satan and take away our ability to see God. They stop us from living the vicrorious life we have in Christ. We live in fear and not faith. I don't believe there are any battles that the Lord will not fight for us as Christian. In non belief He can't fight the battles because they are not given over to Him

The rod MOses held was a representitive of God's power and held all the power of God. He was instructed to hold up the rod by God and was told what would happen. and he did. And as long as he held it up the battles was being won by the Israelites. The Lord is our banner over us all the time. He is our protector and mentor and we never have to feel like we are alone in a battle. He has promised us that we would always have Him as our banner. Nothing can get through the banner. He knows what we are going through and when the batttle will come.

Jesus knew that all this was part of the plan for His death. He knew that the course of action had to take place. Jesus knew that there was a plan that had been put into action from the beginning of time. He could not stop what was happening and if He did then we would not be redeemed on the cross. The angels would have come and taken Him down from the cross and tended to His wounds. They would have stopped the course of action that His Father had sent Him down to accomplish this great and final step that He was taking. we would not have been set free and raised in death with Jesus.

Elisha's servant could not see the whole army there to protect without Elisha praying for the opening of his eyes. All he saw was the army against them. the circumstances and not the answer. Elisha had the faith to believe in God and he was able to trust in the Lord. he also was looking at the outcome not the circumstances of the battle. He knew the battle was the Lord's and not his. It takes us believing and seeing God's answers and knowing that He is always there for us. It takes us walking in faith and not disbelief We are in God and the one who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world. That is the force we have behind us and the victory is always ours.

King of Glory means that He is the King of all that exists. He is the Father of Glory. God is and was and always will be all the things that He says He is.The king of glory is the king of all kings,He Lord of all lords, the God of all gods. He is the very reason for the earth's existence and being. If He is our Father then we can call Him Papa and daddy. This God is the One who is above all others. He is our God if we have excepted as Lord and King. I find it really hard to express all I feel about God. As we worship God we should call on Him for everything. and realize that He knows our every need but we always need to remember to thank God for all He has done for us. We need to realize He is with us every moment of the day and night. He hears us as we worship Him in music, prayer , and every daily activity and He knows the sincerity of our worship. He is the ever-increasing God who has unveiled our faces and now reflect God's glory and now being ttransformed into his likeness being transformed into his likeness with the ever-increasing glory that comes from the Lord. He is the spirit.
