  1. God can receive glory in our local congregation by praise and worship. By doing His will, being His hands and feet. Teaching others about Jesus and most of all loving our neighbours, community, and serving. We ought to remember all that we have learn and therefore go out and bring others to Christ. Pray for the sick and hurting. Most of all see the world as God see it and remember we are in this world but not of this world, therefore we are not to store up riches here on earth.
  2. God is able to do all things, abundantly above all the we ask or think. This is amazing. God the father who created us, the world, and all that is in it. If we just stop and think for a moment how precious and wonderful God is, then we will stop limiting Him. If we limit God, we are missing the important part of God (His Power). We would not be able to have the power to do things that God has given us in Christ. We can past this failing by remembering how powerful God is, what He can do and always remember His word. We can do all things in Christ who stenghten us! Ask and it should be given unto you!
  3. I have prayed for loved ones that God fill them with His love and grace, that God soften their hearts to hear His voice and turn their hearts to Him. As a fellow believer I've prayed similar prayers, but not with the words "filled with all the fullness of God". This is pretty interesting, as this prayer makes me think about how much God has to offer to us his Church. This prayer relates to what God is telling us, to present ourselves (His Church) perfect, without any faults to Christ. This is why Christ died for us, so we can be just like Him, perfect and full of grace.
  4. Paul prays this way so that people realize that God"s love for us is greater then any one of us can fully understand. Humans do have the ability to love others but this love can not even compare with God's love for us.It can change us spiritually because when we know that God does love us, it brings about peace in our lives and a greater understanding of the word. This love is never ending and He died for us so our sins were paid for ( which was a debt that we could not ever pay).
  5. Paul pray that Christ may dwell in our hearts and throught faith we may all live. Our inner man (flesh) always wants to have his own way. We being in one spirit with God must learn to control, take over our flesh and let God spirit show in us. Everyday as followers of Christ we must pray daily for His will be done on us. That God control and take over our life and full our inside (flesh). Living daily on this earth could cause us to put our eyes on what this world has for us (sin). We ought to know that we are in this world but not of this world. In the bible we learn about Noah and Lot (people of those days were looking at sin, not God). Jesus establihed our forgiviness of sin on the cross, but we are to daily remember that we have to pray to God for His spirit to stay in us so we can learn to forgive others as well.
  6. His incomparably great power for us who believe is essential to our vital faith because it proves that we trust the Lord. A christian must have faith, trust and hope in order to continue his or her daily work in the Lord. Knowing that God is loved and His power is awesome and great. I develop this faith by believing and looking at my past, where I could see how the Lord walked with me and made a way, when I think there shouldn't be a way. I pray that others would see the love of God and turn their hearts from their wicked ways and worship God for what He is.
  7. Christian Hope has changed my way of living since I know that my God is alive. I know He lives in me and I have to be his hands and feet. Wherever I go I take my God with me, I am His temple. Therefore, I live a life of love, faithfullness and excitement looking for that special day when I would meet Him face to face. My hope is in my God not in the world. Most people who look for happiness look for it in the world. I look at happiness thorough Jesus Christ the one who died for me ( I owe Him my life). I pray that others will look upon Jesus and not the world system. I pray that God will open their eyes and hearts to see Him (God). .
  8. Paul manner of prayer for the Ephesian believers are for us to learn how to pray for each other, we must pray without ceasing. We must also give thanks upon God the father before we start praying for each other. I'm often are sadden by people we come to God in pray just asking, asking, and asking for help but do not give thanks. We ought to 1st- give thanks unto God the father/Jesus Christ. 2nd- We are to ask God for the Holy Spirit to give us/each other wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. If Christians stopped praying for people to receive a revelation of God, would people come to know God on their own? Yes, I believe people will come to know God of their own. After all, read the Bible and see how many people God called to Him without our help. In the Bible God said, He would have mercy on who He (God) wants to have mercy on. And He (God) would call or bring those He chosen to come to Him. Often we must pray for the lost and unsaved. But God knows who He has call or chosen for His kingdom.
  9. Jesus being the son of God was sent to this earth for a special reason (to die on the cross for our sins). God loves Jesus, just as He loves us. Jesus knew the price was dead and therefore did not asked the angles of God for help. He chose to obey His father voice and take on the cross without help. We have the same special treatment that Jesus has and will always have. If God did not loved us He would not of send His one and only Son (Jesus)to die for our sins,so we can have that special connetion(relationship) with God through the Holy Spirit.
  10. The Father was pleased with Jesus pray. The Father is not please when we come to Him always asking for our fleshly desires. He wants us to spend time with Him, worshiping Him and then humbly bringing our case to Him. God knows whats best for us and therefore He will give it to us. We are to submit ourself to Him daily, have a relationship with Him, have faith in Him and let His will be done upon us.
  11. Jesus was not resisting the Father's will, He was just asking if there's another way please let it be. After Jesus kept on hearing His father (God) saying to Him, "No my son this is the only way. You have to be beaten, spilted at,stripped, mocked, crucified, and suffer dead so that men (who is full of evil)can be safe through your blood". Jesus then said to His father Let your will be done.
  12. He asked his disciples to pray so they would mirror Him. He wanted them to be prepared for things to come. I don't think they knew what Jesus was going to be faced with (if they knew they would of never been asleep) The content of their prayer must have been to resist tempatation and for God to have His own way. They beleived that Jesus was the Son of God and would deliver Him. The Lord's prayer is to resist temptation, Jesus knew what was to come and what the disciples were going to face (eg.Peter denying Christ)that's why He wanted to be alone to pray not only for Himself but also for His disciples to carry on. Jesus did not want any distraction when He's with His Father (God). I feel the best time to pray is alone and especially early in the morning when I could hear the voice of God speaking throught the Holy Spirit. I think Jesus wants us to mirror Him and do the same everyday of our lives, to watch and pray since we do not know what tomorrow may bring. However while we pray God would reveal to us things to come.
  13. Both Daniel and Esther not only lived in the same city (Shushan) they also found favour with the Kings of Persia. They both were in situations where they called upon God thorough fasting and praying. We are strategically placed in positions in our community, business etc..I work in a hospital where people are sick and need help.It is my duty as a Christian to honor and serve God wereever He places me. I pray for the sick to be healed and those who die to be at peace. IT seems to be that God has placed me in this place for his plan and purpose.
  14. The basis of Nehemiah's appeal is to remind God about the covenant He (God) made with His people (the Israelites). He argue his case before God by not denying the people sins but taking it on as his own burden and asking God for repentence and mercy. We learn that God also made a covenant with us through Jesus Christ who came to this earth and died for us by giving us (gentiles) the rights to be sons and daughters of the Lord.
  15. Nehemiah prayed day and night because God allowed him too. I beleived that its all in God's plan, He (God) knows what He wants from us, whether it be time, patient, humbliness, obedience etc. Nehemiah Loved his nation and people who a great love that he did not care how long it takes he would of continued praying until God give him the answer. I believe that praying comes with fasting, weeping and giving up our fleshly wants and needs and putting God first. It was not excessive, because when you loves something or someone time does not come before life.
