RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 4. The Present and Future Kingdom (Luke 17:20-37)
If we dont give our life to Christ now/lose our life that we will not go into the kingdom of God and that not all will. It should make us to live fervently for Christ giving our lives to Him and showing love to all our neighbors and sharing the testimony He has given us through His wonderful grace and love -

Q1. Present Kingdom
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 4. The Present and Future Kingdom (Luke 17:20-37)
In His love towards all the people He came into contact with. His kingdom is within us and His love is given freely as we should also show it towards others allowing Christ to use us -
One who understands what is being taught, studies Gods word, is faithful, fellowships and learns from other believer as well as shares with other what Christ has done in there lifes. Like someone says in another post we are all given different abilitys and no one ability is greater than the other but God uses some in different ways and in turn produces more growth.

Q4. Repentance and Christ's Reign
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Preparing for the Kingdom (Matthew 3:1-17; 4:17)
Realizing we are sinners and confessing and asking Christ to forgive us is the first step into the kingdom. Baptism is symbolic to our old self dying and rising a new creature. No Christ can not reign in an unrepentent heart being that that is the first step into as becoming saved -

Q1. Faith without Repentance
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Preparing for the Kingdom (Matthew 3:1-17; 4:17)
You must repent of your sins before you ask Christ into your heart so he can cleanse you from all unrighteousness. To avoid the conviction of heart or admitting they sinned. -
Q66. Ambassadors of Christ
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.2. Prevailing through Prayer (Ephesians 6:18-24)
The nation the embassy belongs to. The nation that appoints him. To represent and speak for that nation in defense and offense. We are to represent Christ in the same manor for the betterment of His kingdom. -
Q64. Sharing our Faith
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.2. Prevailing through Prayer (Ephesians 6:18-24)
Paul says come boldly to the throne with confidence and I think he is saying that meaning go to God confidently knowing that He will always do the best for us. Boldness is necessary in war so you are not considered weak. Shynesss or timid. If timidity is our life posture we will get walked all over and if boldness is our life posture you arent. -
Q64. Alertness and Perseverance
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.2. Prevailing through Prayer (Ephesians 6:18-24)
When we pray we should be focused on who and what we are praying for. Being attentive and not distracted helps the holy spirit stir within us and stay focused on what we are ptaying for. Continually praying is a good thing and keeps us in touch with the holy spirit and it also helps us stay focused on the spiritual things. -
Q63. Praying in the Spirit
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.2. Prevailing through Prayer (Ephesians 6:18-24)
Prayer is one of our ways of comunication with God. It helps us to talk to Jesus and be able to open up to the holy spirit. Prayer in the spirit is a deep and sensual prayer from within and should be consisten with our every day lives. -
Q62. Faith and the Word
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.1. Wrestling with the Enemy of Our Souls (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Because the moment you let it down the devil is ready to attack. It protects our minds from the battle going on inside with the forces of darkness. The sword of the spirit is both an offensive and defensive weapon. As long as we keep it sharpened daily it protects us and leads us daily with its sharpness. The only way to keep it sharp is by staying in the word daily! -
Q61. Good News
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.1. Wrestling with the Enemy of Our Souls (Ephesians 6:10-18)
The characteristic of a person who isn't prepared to run would be a follower and when i say that i mean one who is not sure of his path and of what he is searching. When you prepare your heart you are allowing the holy spirit to lead and guide you and are ready at every oppurtunity to share what Christ has done for you and with the holy spirit trods the darkness underfoot! -
Q59. Stand
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.1. Wrestling with the Enemy of Our Souls (Ephesians 6:10-18)
I don't really think it's difficult. I just think we worry about what people may think or me myself always has the thought of people don't really want to hear what i got to say about Jesus. Because they followed Jesus no matter what and they died doing it. -
Q58. The Demonic
RLL replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7.1. Wrestling with the Enemy of Our Souls (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Because people can't see them and they are made out to be fictional characters in movies and cartoons. Their existence explain the struggles we face because they know that they can't defeat Christ so they turn to us throwing all the can to try in turn us from following Him. NO the devil did'nt make me do it our weakness and lack of faith did! Any bad decisions we make can not be blamed on demonic powers.
