Q4. (4:19-20) In this context, what is the condition that must be met for the promise to be valid? Answer: That if we give for Gods glory and honor, for Gods work and ministry, then the promise will be valid. What is the limit of the fulfillment of the promise? Answer: The verse said; "And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches", it means ALL, it means no LIMITATION, no BOUNDARIES. In your own words, what does the promise mean to you? Answer: That if I give with a good intention, which is for the Love of God, surely God will bless me & my family abundantly that we will be able to extend our giving to more Gods ministry.

Q3. (4:14-16) How were the Philippians' financial gifts credited to their heavenly account, do you think? Answer: Because of the many souls that was brought to Christ in Paul's mission, God will reward the Philippian brethren with the crowns in heaven. How was their giving linked to temporal blessings? Q2. (4:11-13) What is the basis of Paul's contentment? Answer: When he said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens in me". Does this contentment undermine ambition? Answer: Definitely not. On the part of Christian life it is only by being contented with what you have but it does not mean you can not push thru with your ambition as long as you are doing it for God's glory and honor. What is necessary for us to achieve this kind of contentment? Answer: What is necessary for us to achieve this kind of contentment is to be like Paul in his faith and belief that whatever circumstance he may face with, God is always there and enough for him.

Q1. (4:11-12) How can a "prosperity doctrine" threaten Christian ministry? Answer:It is critical because when Christian believe that they are not to suffer poverty because of their faith, what will happen to the ministry if trials of this kind will befall them. They might turn away from their faith and consider it false teaching. To what prime motivation in us does such a teaching often appeal? Answer: Being greedy. In balance, what does the Bible teach about poverty and riches? Answer: It teaches that when a person is blessed with material things (specially a christian one) he must share it to the poor and needy. On the other hand, those who are poor and capable must work to earn for their living.

Q3. (3:17) How can Paul be so bold as to ask others to imitate him? Answer:Because he knows and he believes that deep in his heart he truly and wholeheartedly follow, obey and seek Jesus Christ. Why are we so hesitant to do this?
