Judah is confused about their identity in that they don't know God as their Lord or who they are in him.they don't know who they are or who's they are.The consequences for Christians today who have this same identity confusion is that we live defeated lives.We can't experience God's best.The injustice that God accuses his people of is evildoing.they won't help the down and out they won't cloth or provide for those in need.God argues that their behavior is unreasonable because they are rebellious defiant and disobedient.God offers to forgive them if they are willing to receive His forgiveness by repenting and being obedient.

Jesus didn't call on the heavenly host so that the scriptures would be fulfilled which say that it must happen this way. when Jesus does call on the heavenly hosts they will follow him the commander into battle.

The servant was afraid because he was looking to his lord Elisha and not to the LORD. The difference between the servant and Elisha was Elisha had a relationship with God the Lord of hosts and the servant didn't. In order for our eyes to be open we must have a true relationship with God.1Jn.4:4 strengthens me in my spiritual battles because I know that I am a child of God and He has over come the world therefore I'v over come too because He lives in me.

the commander responded that way because his agenda was Gods agenda and not mans agenda. The significance of this is that we must have a God agenda and not a self agenda . I believe at the first encounter Joshua was afraid. after the encounter he felt assured of victory .

King of glory tells us that God is strong and mighty, The Lord is mighty in battle . Father of glory is God of our Lord Jesus Christ who gives us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation,so that we may know Him better. The knowledge of God as King of glory and Father of glory should cause us to worship Him with reverential fear and awe of who it is we worship. Gods glory comes to fill our lives by the Spirit of the Lord.

The phrase teaches me that although God is Holy, highly exalted and inhabits eternity. He is lofty and He dwells in and with His people to give His people hope and confidence. This truth affects my day to day living knowing that the Most High dwells in me. I can love others though Him.

Most High! Wow it's sobering to say the least. There really are no words to even come close to describing what it means. In the only words I have, I will try. Most High to me means that God is higher than any of the world's gods or the gods we make for our selves. It means that God is exalted above all of creation and the created, because He is Most High creator of the heaven the earth and all that are in them. I will incorporate this in my worship by hallowing Most High God. I will go before Him with a bowed down spirit , humbled heart praising and worshiping Him acknowledging Him as Most High God El-Elyon.

They both believe that God is the possessor of heaven and earth.
