  2. 1 They didn't help because they didn't beleive God was with Gideon and that they couldn't stop the Midianites. 2 Because the two cities feared the Midianites more than they trusted God. 3 They didn't show hositality to their kinsman and sinned against the covenant of God. 4 God gave the land to all the people and told them all to defend it. So yes, because they didn't give them food they rejected God's word. 5 Yes, when people are hurting or in need and come to us that are christians and we turn them away in fear of the trouble they could cause us until the situation is resolved

  9. 1. The army was to large for God to deliver the enemy into their hands. 2. By shrinking the army to a small band the Israelites couldn't boast about their strengh. 3. He feared they all would die and that everyone would see him as foolish. 4. He was able to obey fully because he knew God, believed and trusted Him completely.
  10. 1. He put the fleece out twice to make sure that what he was told was from God. 2. Belief. 3. No. We all get ideas but some are our own some are from satin, but most are from God. We ask for a sign just to be sure we are in the will of God. 4. Sinful testing is sinful. 5. When your testing with the word of the Lord but your not sure. 6. The danger of demanding a sign is you show your unbelief.
  11. 1. He was inspired by the Holy Spirit. 2. What Gideon had in common was he was filled with the Holy Spirit.
  12. 1. Not a good one because he allowed the worship of other gods. 2. Gideon's actions made his father chose and defend the Lord Amighty. 3. No, because God told him what to do. To think of the impact on his father would have put his father above God. 4. He had to put God before all else. 5.He realizes that Yahweh is real and says that if Baal and the Aserah pole are reaal gods that they can defend themselves as Yahweh did.

By doing it at night it showed weakness through but a smart move. But by actually doing it he showed faith.

We are God's servants but we are also friends of Jesus. 5.God's answer to Gideon was that He would be with him. 6.God give me the faith in myself that you have in me. Teach me to know that you are always with me and that I can win the battle through you. Amen

We blame God I feel because it's easier then looking at our own blame. 4. The danger is that we lose sight of God and satin can get in and take over. We stop short by rememering that God is not the fault,we are, and to read and learn through His word that He is always with us to guide and protect if we listen.
