It's wonderful to have confidence in God. The Philippians could have confidence in God because they knew who HE was what that he was in control of the future. There will be some conflicts upcoming--they will need to rely on this confidence.

We have been financial partners with many missionaries and have been privileged to visit some of them. That is true fellowship and sharing as Paul talks about it in Phil. 1. We receive blessings when we contribute to God's servants. We also offer prayer support and "moral support"--standing firm with them in times of need
