Yes the father was pleased because Jesus was surrending to the will of the Father, an not his will. How can the father be pleased with the attidude of some (our) the christian brothers & sister a lot of (church goers) christian are only sunday christians. In order to stay in the will of the Father we must surrender to his will and nit our will.

Q2. Intensity
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 10. Jesus' Prayer of Submission at Gethsemane (Luke 22:39-46)
Jesus was not resisting God's will waht I believe he was asking if there's another way for this to be accomplished. In other words if you do this any other way, but if not let your will be done not mines. -
Jesus asked the disciples to pray so they would not give in to temptation. Jesus were refering to the thing to come. the content of their prayer was for them to prat and ask the Father to lead them away from temptation, and to keep them from evil. They didn't pray diligently because they fell asleep. they needed to pray this prayer so when temptation come they would have the strenght to resist it Jesus wanted to be alone to talk to his Father without any interuption

Q3. Identifying
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 8. Daniel's Confession on Behalf of His People (Daniel 9:1-19)
Daniel was seeking mercy for a nation that he was a part of, they violated the law of Moses, and the the warnings that God had given to the prophets. Daniel did not commit any of the sins but he appealed to God's mercies on their behalf, the same as Jesus paid a debt for sins that he did not commit but he appealed to the mercies of God for the sins of the world. Daniel appeal to God for a nation. -
Q2. Preparation
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 8. Daniel's Confession on Behalf of His People (Daniel 9:1-19)
Daniel prayed to God as his God. He made a confession, he was humble, he gave God the glory. he was prepared because he knew that was a God to be feared. It was important because for Daniel to think of God's mercy since he had layed miseries of the people before him. We must acknowledge that we have sinned and then appeal to the mercy and rightousness of God. we cann intercecd for our brother and sisters. -
Even though Daniel was considered one of the rightous, he realized that they had all sinned. When he prayed to God he prayed a prayer of confession, because the disobeyed God. He asked God to forgive then because the was God people. Daniel appealed to the rightousness of God. I do not have an answer for part 2 of this question.

Q4. The Prayer of Surrender
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7. David's Psalm of Surrender (Psalm 139)
Do we really want a all-knowing God to look in our heart and see what there, we would like to think that it is hidden away.when we pray for God to search our heartwe should be ready to repent when he reveal those hidden sin. the results I had a lot of repentance to do. you cannot be a disciple true without.unless God search heart. -
Q3. Intricate Prenatal Weaving
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7. David's Psalm of Surrender (Psalm 139)
It is good to know that there was a man with the perfect plan to design a person with all the right parts in the right place and work as they should and trere have never been a recall because something malfunctioned. what an awesome creater. Any mother that carries a child can know that her child is wonderfully made from a prefect plan. The father can be sure the the even if this child have some challenger it's were still made from a perfect blue print. When I would bath my babies I would look at then in awe and say it God to be a God somewhere to put to because we are all wonderfully made. -
Q2. Touched by the Hand of God
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7. David's Psalm of Surrender (Psalm 139)
God hand touched David in every way no matter where he went God was there. I've had God guide me to some tuff situtation but at the moment I really througt I had made the decision to change the course only to discover that it was God who led the way. yes it was good for me. Looking back it was/is a miracle(s) because without the guidence on God's hands I would have made the choices. -
Q1. Fleeing from God
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 7. David's Psalm of Surrender (Psalm 139)
When we are about to commit a sin we wish that we were not under the scruinty of God's watch. I never realized it until this bible study, that God is very much like the CIA only better, because he is all knowing. I do not think that people really imagine that God doesn't know what that do, they just he didn't. In my mind I do wish that weren't all-knowing, all-present, all-power than I wouldn't have to suffer consequences of my sometime evil deeds. -
The to lines are synomynous because the both reconizes God for who he is (The Father.)They are very important without faith its' impossible to please God let alone know who he is. When we pray we must acknowledge the Father for who he is , we have to let him hnow that we know that he is the God of the universe and the heaven he is our substainer.

When Hezekiah recieve the letter from the enemy he was passionate enough not to reply in the same provoking manner as to whic this letter was written. he went to the temple with the letter and spreaded it before God, because he acknowledged God in all his ways. The principle I see here is on matter what the enemy through in our path God is already of and we are not to respond with the same attitude, but prar to God for the right respond. when we do not apply this principle we fall in the enemy trap.

We must have the willingness to give in order to give praises. God God give to us everyday and we should give him praise you cannot have the mind to praise and not have the will to give God not only supply us with spiritual blessing but also material blessing too. All my possessions belong to God because he allowed me to obtains them through his grace and my faith in him. .

Q4. Persistence
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Abraham's Prayer for Sodom (Genesis 18:16-33)
Abraham was persistence because he started with 50 and ended up with 10 rightous people Ibelieve his main focus was on Lot's family. We have to be persistence in our prayers if we results. Yes I prayed through and at the time it seem as if I was praying in vain, I almost gave up then I realized that my time was not God's time. then the answer came. -
Q3. Pleasing Boldness
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Abraham's Prayer for Sodom (Genesis 18:16-33)
God was not displeased. I think this was a test of Abraham faith, God didn't have to reveal to Abraham of his decision to destroy Sodom. Why Or Why Not. God knew that he would interceed on behalf of his Nephew Lot. God was delighted because Abraham faith made him bold enough to appeal to God's charactor and reminding him that th was a just God. -
Q2. Humility and Boldness
Rebekia replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Abraham's Prayer for Sodom (Genesis 18:16-33)
Abraham showed humility by first acknowledging that he was just dust and ashes. To be bold before God we must know our place, who we are and then will the humbleness come.
