-It is because we sometimes doubt God's power to deliver us from danger. -It is because of pride that we do it ourselve. - We have to trust God to and depend on Him .

Q2. Predestination
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. 1 Spiritual Blessings in Christ (Ephesians 1:1-6)
What is Scary about Predestination is that God knows His people , we can't pretend that we know God when we do not Love Him with all of our heart and mind. When we know that God knew us before the creation of the earth , should encourage us to seek His face and know Him more . -
I depend complentely on God . He is my Shepherd , and I have commited my Life to Him. I have allowed him to quide me and when I have Him , I have everything in this world.

Abraham was a man of faith and he was sure that God would provide a scrifice . God did not want Isaac to die , but He wanted Abraham to sacrifice Isaac in his heart so it would be clear that Abraham loved God more than he loved his promised and long -awaiting son. God has been my provider in everything I do in this world.

A rock is known for its firmness and it is never shaken . If we put our trust in God , who is the Rock , we can never be shaken with the worries of this world.

He protects , defends us in time of danger. He is only one to be Worshipped. When we are low , He lifts us up . I have to put my trust in God , even if everything seems to go wrong , God is still for me . If a circumstance has turned against me , I should not blame God , but seek Him

Q3. Lord of Lords and Governments
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 6. God Our Lord and King
Disobedience to God has been the major problem for all the Nations in the world. Many countries charge leadership thinking that most of their problem will be solved , this is wrong , problem will only continue under new administration . What people need in this World is UNIFIED FAITH ,NOT A UNIFORM RULE .WE HAVE TO LET GOD THE KING OF kings TO BE OUR LEADER AND FIGHT FOR US THE BATTLE . -
If only the whole world could have known what Power Lies in the Hand Yahweh , we could not be wasting most of our resources on building armies to defend our Nations. For me I have full confidence in Yahweh as my King , He is the King of kings .

The principle regarding tithes was intended to encourage inward attitude as well as outward actions . If a person gives grudgingly , he shows that he has a stingy heart . God wants us to be cheerful givers. People may hestitate to give to God because they worry about enough money left over to meet their own need .God is able to meet our needs .The person who gives a little will receive only little in return. Don't let a lack of faith keep you from giving cheerfully and generously.

Q4. Divine Lamb
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #5. The Triumphant Lamb We Worship (Revelation 5)
Only the Lamb Jesus Christ , is worthy to open the scroll. Jesus , not satan , holds the future. Jesus Christ is in control, and He alone is worthy to set into motion the events of the last days of history. -
Reigning priests
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #5. The Triumphant Lamb We Worship (Revelation 5)
In Old Testament times , people did not approach God directly . A priest acted as intermediary between God and sinful human beings . With Christ's victory on the cross , that pattern changed . Now we can come directly int God's presence without fear. We are united with Christ as members of His Body and we are represting Him here on earth. We are given the responsibilty of bringing others to Him, by living a holy life. -
Q4. Justice, Vengeance, and Mercy
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 5. The Holy and Righteous One
Justice-The quality of being fair conformity to truth, it also means the quality of being just , impartial or fair. Vengeance-Punishment inflicted in retaliation for an inury or harm inflicted in response to harm received. Mercy- Compassion or forbearnce shown especially to an offender or to one subject to one's power , a blessing that is an act of devine favor or compassion. God is Holy and He hates sin , He must punish sin to show how serous sin is , but He is also very Loving , when we repent He forguves us from all sin. -
Q3. Triumphing
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #5. The Triumphant Lamb We Worship (Revelation 5)
The lion , Jesus proved Himself Worthy to break the Seals and open the Scroll by Living a perfect Life of Obedience to God , dying on the cross for the sins of the world , and rising from the dead to show His Power and Authority over evil and death. Only Christ conquered sin , hell and satan himself ; so only He can be trusted with the world's future. -
Q3. Helper of the Fatherless
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 5. The Holy and Righteous One
As Christains we are called to face and deal the real problems in society - no sidestepping the issues , especially those oppressing the weak one in the community. We are to face ones responsible for peoples's attitudes toward God - could be Higher Government official . We are also to face ourseles , this is not easy at times . We are to see where we have gone wrong and ask God's forgiveness before helping other people. We are to help everone , especial those with weak faith to knoe God More. -

Q2. Relativity and Righteousness
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 5. The Holy and Righteous One
If you are in the furnace , it's easy to catch on fire . God warned the Israelites about their neighbours whose beliefs and actions could turn them away from Him. We also live among neighbours and relatives whose values may be completely different from ours . We are called to maintain a life-style that shows our faith . This can be a struggle , especilly if our Christian life-style differs from the norm. Our lives should demonstrate that obeying God takes precedence over conforming to our neighbours' and relatives' way of life . God's Word , not society, dictaces how we should live. -
Q1. Lion and Root
masika replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #5. The Triumphant Lamb We Worship (Revelation 5)
Jesus Christ is pictured as both a Lion , symbolizing His Authority and Power, and a Lamb Symbolizing His Submission to God's will . Root of David , refers to Jesus being from david's Family line , thus fulfilling the promise of the Messiah in the Old Testament. -
Seeing the Lord and listening to praise of the angels , Isaiah realized that he was sinful before God , with no hope of measuring up to God's standard of Holiness. When Isaiah's lips were touched with a live burning coal, however , he was told that his sins were forgiven . It wasn't the coal that cleansed him , but God . In responsne , Isaiah submitted himself entirely to God's service . Before we accept God's call to speak to those around us , we must be cleansed as Isaiah was , confessing our sins and submitting to God's control. Letting God purify us may be painful , but we must be purified so that we can represent God , Who is Pure and Holy.
