  1. I believe that when we learn to love like God this is really what brings Him glory. If we did that, throughout the body of Christ, my congregation, your congregation we would all bring God glory and give Him what He desires us to be one big happy family.
  2. To be filled with the Spirit means to allow God to take you over completely, spirit, soul and body, nothing is off limits to Him. You have given Him free course in your life, so that He can fill you with Himself. This is not a onetime experience, but a continuing experience, it's like breathing, it's your very life. Being filled with the Spirit and the fullness of the Spirit is not the same thing. Any born again believer or child of God becomes fill with Spirit or the Spirit indwells him/her. In order to become filled with the fullness of the Spirit, we must spend time in His presence daily in order to allow Him to take control of us. I believe we obtain the fulness through trust, and in order to learn to fully trust God we must get to know Him, so that we will relinquest all to him.
  3. Many times our inability to comprehend God's love to the extent the He would like for us to comprehend, is due in large to our sinful and selfish nature. I beleve that when we really comprehend God's love, many of the ills and problems facing us today would be eliminated. The Bible declares that love covers a multitude of sins, we would stop judging people and would see them through the eyes of love, the way God sees us.
  4. The spirit's inner strengthening is the same thing as Christ dwelling in our hearts; this is just two ways of expressing the same truth.
  5. First, we must approach God through faith; because without it, it would be impossible to pleae Him and if we can't please Him than there would be no confidence or boldness in approaching Him and this is what God requires of us.
  6. The reason why paul was so humble in regards to preaching the good news to the Gentiles is because he determine it to be a great honor and a privilege to be the one chosen primarily as the conveyor of this great mystery.
  7. The mystery that Paul was referring to is the fact that God is not just the God of the Jews, but the God of all those who would believe Him. In addition, the Gentiles were now part of the household of faith, they are equal with the chosen people of God. We have all been brought into one body. We are heirs together. The reason why this revelation was so important to the Gentiles, is that it let them know that they were not a people without hope or without God in the world. They were not second class citizens.
  8. The reason why God's revelation to His holy apostles and prophets are our authority for faith is because it is God inspired or God-breath and the holy apostles and prophets was God's way of revealing Himself to us and the things that we need to know and understand. The bible says that the Word of God is good for wisdom, for teaching, rebuking, correction and training in righteousness; which is what we need to know and understand in order to live successfully in this life. The danager of straying away from this or minimizing the revelation that GOd has geiven us through His holy apostles and prophets is that it will lead into error; because only God's Word is truth. In addition, we can not learn faith except through the hearing of His Word.
  9. In the spirit, not just my congregation, but all congregations who name the name of Jesus is a spiritual temple and are called to be joined together. What hinders this from being fully experience is when we act like lone rangers.
  10. We were separated from the Father because of sin, when Jesus came He corrected that and made it possible through Him for us to have access to the Father. The Holy Spirit baptize us into the body of Christ, and Jesus gave us acces through His blood to be able to come boldly before the Father.
  11. The significance of Jesus fulfilling the law holds the same significance for both Jew and Gentile. By fufilling the law's requirment, Jesue restore us back to the Father. He made us one, Jew and Gentile.
  12. I think you would have to had an experience of being lost to truely understand what it means. If you were ever lost, you would want someone to help you, therefore if we had the experiene there would be no impedement or unwillingness to witness to someone, we would not want them to have our experience. A person who does not know Christ is lost and without hope.
  13. Faith is a substance. No we can not take credit for having it, but we can take credit for receiving it. Yes we can be condemned for lacking it; because the bible says in Hebrews 11:6 that it is impossible to please God without faith and if we can not please God we will be condemned. We can not even receive salvation without faith.
  14. According to Ephesins 2:10, we were created to do good works, which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them.
  15. The word saved is to be rescued from something that threatens us. And we all need to be saved, so that we can live.
