Q34. Our Calling
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 4.1. One Body -- Unity and Diversity (4:1-10)
The standard of our behavior is that we are a prisoner of God. The calling is to live a life worthy of the calling that was given to me and a behavior that is a credit to God service. -

Q31. Far Reaches of Love
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3.3. Paul's Prayer and Doxology (3:14-21)
I think that it could be pride and being self-centered. One cannot comprehend His lovewhen we are like this. When I take my mind off of self and make it Christ centered than I can be a better person. -

Q22. Lostness
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3.1. Fellow Citizens with the People of God (2:11-22)
I think that if you are not fully in Christ and not not living the christian walk, what I mean is that some may go to church every week and accepted Christ but is not living fully in him (they still have some of the world in them), so I think this would make it hard to witness. The spiritual condition of friends or co-workers who does not know Christ is dead. -
Q21. Faith
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2.2. Salvation by Grace through Faith (2:8-10)
Faith is the confidence that what we pray for will actually happen. Believing every word and promise that God has said to us. Can we take credit for having faith? I do not believe yes and no. The Bible say that we are all given a measure of faith, so it up to us to use it, to stir up the gift of faith that is in us, the more we use it the more that our faith will grow. -
Q20. Works
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2.2. Salvation by Grace through Faith (2:8-10)
We were created first to worship God and then in Eph. 2:10, to do good works, to give glory and honor to God, so that men will see our good works and they will glorfiy God. There are times when people do works in the flesh for they can be seen, and for they can boast in what they are doing. The works in V.10 is working for God, to glorfiy God, not ourselves. -
Q18. Grace
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2.2. Salvation by Grace through Faith (2:8-10)
I believe because grace is an act of love and that is given to us freely. Sometimes it is hard to receive love when we had came from a home with no or little of love or we don't feel love nor did not have love in our heart before we were saved. To accept anything that is free is hard for some people because sometime whoever that is giving the gift is looking for something in return. That is why some is hard to understand God's grace. -

Q15. Following Satan
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2.1. From Deadness in Sin to Coming Alive in Christ (2:1-7)
After the fall of Adam and Eve sin enter into the world, therefore man was born into sin, we have a sin nature. God has given man a free will, man can chose right or wrong. In this day-n-age everyone is doing his/her own thing. The things of this world looks fun and beauitful. There is no knowledge of God nor His Laws. Just like Paul said in Romans 3:18, "There is no fear of God before their eyes." When we do not follow/obey God Laws we are unwitting rebellion against God. Because we have some knowledge about good and evil, God has given us the chance to turn to Him, to repent. God is a mercyful God. I like what Paul says in Romans 1:18-20, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." This is the same for the rightous man as well who [thinks] that he is without sin. We are without excuse! In Romans 2:6 it states that.."God -
I believe when we are absent from corporate worship we miss out on the opportunity to grow and mature. We are bless to be a blessing to others, so we miss out on blessing others, ministering to others, to the lost, the hurting or even encouraging someone with a kind/wise word or with a smile. The church is the body and we are one, God has bless us all with difference gifts to bless the church. Our absence from church, these gifts will go not being use, it will go to waste.

I believe it is the lack of faith we have in God, and because of fear, also we do not have enough knowledge or teaching on spiritual warfare. Jesus is the victor over all things and He left this power to us as well. When we are in Christ we walk in victory as well. We feel powerless is because we are trying to do all in our own strength and not relying on Jesus strength. Paul was encouraging the Ephesians by letting them see how much power Jesus has and that they can have the same power as well. This encourage me to walk in more faith, to use the tools that Jesus left me (spiritual armor), and to remember Jesus promise to me in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Q9. Christian Hope
sis. dee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1.3. The Greatness of Our Christian Inheritance (1:15-23)
(1). The hope of Jesus return and being with Him. (2). This hope is a major motivation because that my future with Jesus will be better. (3). That I should live in great expectation of Christ return and busy sharing the Gospel to the lost for they may have this hope as well. (4). Because our hope is in Jesus Christ, His return and spending eternal life with Him, where the non-believer has no hope nor future, the only future they have is eternal hell.
