Q3, Why it it so hard to take the gospel to different people without wrapping it in our own cultural practices?----Because they are confidence in their own cultural, its difficult to change them, it takes time and teaching before they will accept your cultural;-- b,Can you think of example of this in church history?----The early missionaries were forcing western cultural on the inhabitants especially in Africa. C,What is the danger?;-- The danger is trying to impose their custom on them, instead of explaining things in their way of their life.----D,How can we avoid such cultural faux pas in our church missionary enterprises?---You have to explain the church cultural to them, without forcing them to leave or stop it, but keep on preaching to them and the Lord will change them to follow the correct path. .

Q1/(Galatians2;11-14)why do you think Peter first embraced the Gentile believers in antioch and withdraw from them to eat only with Jews?----At first Peter want b the Gentile believers to know that as christians we are all one, but later on, when the other Jews came in, he was afraid of them as they belong to the circucision group B,What does this tell us about his character?-----This tell us that he is a hypocrisy, by saying one thing but doing another thing.. C,Why sould he have known better?----Peter should have known better he was with Jesus for years, he was the first person to preach to the Gentiles also eat with them... D,What does this it tell us about Barnabas?---Barnabas wasn't strong enough, so he was trying to please the other people. D,What does it tell us about the political clout of the visitors from Jerusalem?---- The visitors that came from Jerusalem were powerful, they came in to influence the Gentile. E,Have you ever acted like a hypocrite to impress others/? YES. F, What should you do when you recover your senses?---- I prayed to good Lord forgiveness. , .. -

Q2(Galatians)Why do think Paul confronted Peter publicly rather than privately? I think he confronted Peter privately but the situation was the same, that's why he confronted him publicly in front of the Jews and Gentiles.------ B,Do you expect Paul had talked with Peter about this privately? ---I expect that he talked with him privately before coming out to say it. _C, How did a public discussion of this benefit the Jewish christians / and did it benefit the Gentile christians? - Yes it benefited both the Jewish and Gentiles. D, What kind of pressure do you think this put on Paul? --some men came down from Judea to antioch and they were teaching that unless you circumcised you cannot be save, this pressured Paul to go jerusalem to confirm about his preaching. -

Q2(PSALM 42-43)What is the psalmist feeling during this spiritual struggle?-----The psalmist was loosing hope, so he has to struggle for spiritual strength as psalm 42,, says. B,How does he combat his spiritual depression?----His depression is that he knows that God can deliver him from anything, so he praises God all the time. -- C,How you ever felt this way?-----I felt like i was in darkness and couldn't get out,so i spend time with God in praises and prayers, D,How did you reach out to God at this time?----I reach out to God by praising , prayer and fasting, with all this am near to God.

Q4(Galatians2;1-10)why do you think Paul seems to distance himself from the leaders of the Jerusalem church(2:2,6,9)?. Because he want the Gentiles to understand the gospel also,. B,why does he at the same time write of their approval of his ministry?------ He want everybody to know, that his ministry came directly from God and all the believers are the same in Christ. C,How does this further his argument to the Galatians in this letter?-----He want the Galatians to know that his ministry had the approval of the church in Jerusalem .

Paul declare that the uncircumcised can received the Holy Spirit just like the circumcised.

How do we know that it is a true revelation?--------Because he explain that, it was revel to him through Christ,and also by faith.. How does it conform to our other foundational sources of christian teaching?----He did not teach on his own but from the scriptures. What is the danger of taking the teaching of contemporary leaders as our doctrinal basis without checking it with the scripture?-----We need to go to the scriptures to confirm about the teaching, and also with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Q2(Galatians1;13-16)what factors in Paul's background made him an ideal apostle to the gentiles? He was part of the early prosecutors of the Christians,(the church). 2, How did God use his being different from others? To explain the both sides of the God's works, and he also knew something different than the other disciples. 3,To ponder; How has your unique background fitted you for ministry?. Because God has turned my heart to him , as he turned Paul's heart to him. 4,What uniqueness has God given you? Its very hard to answer it. 5,What will take to see that uniqueness as a God given strength rather than as an embarrassment? God has given me the ability to learn his word , and try to speak to other people. -
Q2(Galatians 6-8)Paul called the Judaizers "message a "different gospel "a perversion of the true gospel, How is this dangerous to the Galatians believers.? IT will be dangerous to the Galatians believers ,because they were being led astray, for not worshiping the true God. b,How do twisted gospels (or an unbalanced interpretation of the gospel) affect Christians in our day? IT takes them away from the God path, we must read the gospel for ourselves to know the truth before accepting the teaching.

Q3(psalm 139) in what way does the wonder of creation in the psalm seem to affect the psalmist? in his concluding prayer in verses 23-24,what does he ask God to do? 1,it teaches that God knows his whole life from its very beginning to its very end, the creator powerful and knowing every thing. 2,the psalmist want God to look through his heart, if there is any wrong thing in his heart ,that needs some help he should cleanse it and lead him back to his (God) path,to experience his everlasting life .

Q2(PSALM 19)verses 1-6, seems very different from verses 7-13, but there is a common thread that relate the first part to the second part, what is it? in what does the psalmist seems to bask in God's word? have you ever felt that way? how does the psalmist's wonder in creation seems to affect him in this psalm? in the classic prayer of verse 14, what is David asking God to do. , 1,the first part tells us about the glory of God,and the second part given us the law, which will guide us to see the glory of God 2, it teaches us that, the psalmist fill comfortably on God's word. 3, Yes i felt that way, so far as am a christian, i stay on God's protection. 4, the psalmist wonder about his secret faults or sins,so he ask God to deliver him. 5,the psalmist want God to listen to his prayers, and be his strength and redeemer.
