  1. Democracy is government by the people, and power is vested by the elected agents under the free will to vote. We are tied to the elected agent, or person we elect by individual voting combined into a group in favor of that official. Elected agents often act for an entire group of people, whether their decisions are godly or ungodly. Rom. 13:1 states to honor authority, and Acts 5:29 states that Peter thought to do as God asked , and was willing to suffer the consequences for civil disobedience.
  2. Christ died for the worst of man's sin because in the scripture, we learn to separate the sinner from his sin. The best thing for our salvation is what God accomplished with forgiveness by transferring our sin to Christ on the Cross, and judging it there. I see Christ as our savior, and my own passion for Christ in past tense. In present tense, Jesus delivers me from evil with the second blessing of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus died on the cross, in past tense, he reconciled,(or harmonized), forgiveness of sin with God's Grace. The worst of our sin is that all men have sinned(Rom. 5:12) from the implanted seed of Adam (Rom. 5:12) The best of our salvation is having compassion for Christ in past tense, feeling his passion in present tense, and understanding that he was our only and final Atonement to the seed of sin.
  3. When we, as people, received atonement, we received hope, not only by the justification of faith from Christ, but the presence of the holy ghost. Christ died for us at the worst of our sin, and the best for our salvation. Because when Jesus died we, as people, were given absolute certainty, and we can now come directly into the presence of God. Jesus is now not only the redeemer, but the advocate to sin as well.
  4. Patience leads to experience, and experience to hope, describes why Christians should rejoice. We rejoice in the hope of god, because peace with god is no longer an enemy. When Christ died for our sins, we can come directly into the presence of God, Jesus is our redeemer, and we are not ashamed of this principle. Our minds are no longer dominated by sin, and its nature.(Rom. 8:7)
  5. My answer to Q1: Abraham set an example to the principle of justification by faith. In the old testament vicarious Atonement involved sacrifice. Abraham did what god asked him to do when it came to making sacrifice, meaning he followed the principle of justification by faith. In the new testament, Jesus was the vicarious Atonement to all man's sin, and we must follow the same principle in believing that Jesus was the sacrifice that God allowed, as the savior to man's sin-putting our faith into believing in Christ's passion, and what God allowed to happen to his own son. And believing that, as God's sacrifice, under no other principle of faith.
  6. At glance of the number of Romans that were still worshiping multi gods, and goddesses' makes me feel a more defined meaning of the passion of Christ, through vicarious Atonement. It also makes me wonder how many Romans on a compared census scale were still actually participating in animal and people sacrificing for the sake of Roman mythology. I am sure the numbers would be totally remarkable.
  7. Greetings Pastor Wilson, I am from Florida, United States, and have chosen to participate in the study of Romans Chapters 5-8. Am looking forward to an in depth study. Thanks for helping bring a walk with the lord just a tiny step closer.
