Q2. Relativity and Righteousness
csreeves replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 5. The Holy and Righteous One
God sent his Son, Jesus down to walk as a human yet remain as God to prove his love for us. The most effective approach is to walk the walk with God's light shinning through-to love thse who treat us for harm and forgive immedietly. In doing this we show we have a greater light causing others to ask us why we are different. Then we can share Christ with them and they will be open to this truth. -
Isaiah feels like he falls short for he is a man of unclean lips and his eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. He was afraid since he had not been cleansed nor was pure enough to see God and the penality was death. His unspoken request of attonment was answered immediately. He was cleansed by a seraphs flew to him with a live coal from the altar where he touched his mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sins are attoned for."

I know God was here before the earth was created and will be here to the end of this age and in the "new earth and Heaven on earth he will reign forever.

The psalmist calls us to bow down and worship God.

We are rediculously kidding ourselves thinking we have any right to anything "we" create. It is only created by God and loaned to us.
-
Second guessing the Potter is rediculous or a waste of energy. Can we create anything or run our lives? I think not without the Potter we wouldn't exist. I think we allow the enemy to trick them taking their minds off the real thing worshiping God

David worshipped the true living God who enabled the strength of one small person to accomplish something no one would be able to accomplish. Why? Well would he not be God if he didn't give us strength to endure be it while others are with fear and dread towards God. Must he always be weak in the eyes of sinners? I think not.

It shows me that God is an equal oportunity God, but as apposed to earth where the the first are the wealthy heaven will make the poor downtrodden who only existed last if anything became first in everything. Praise God.

I think eternity will be unimportant unless my Creator and substainer will be with me. My view of eternity isn't a vision of God with Jesus at his right hand, but an upclose relationship with me and my family sitting on the lap of Jesus adoring and praising him forever

Yahweh reveals that he was there in the beginning before anything was here and he created earth for his own creations to give praise back to him. He has all power and is able to come to us in any form which he chooses be it a burning bush that never burns up.

If we truly believe then we should never go or do anything without the leading of our Lord for without him we are doombed. With him we always win as well as without him we will lose.

Moses was in battle for the Israelites to again prove to them that a invisable God is there even if he can't be seen. The Lord always goes before us in battle if we are his.
-
Jesus wouldn't call on anything the devil tempted him with for he already knew the end of the story that he wins. Also he is going to die as an example to us for our sins.

He can only see the huge army against them. Elisha's eyes were open and he could see God's army and knew his might. The only thing that will open our eyes is to ask our Saviour for this.1 John 4:4 says to be not afraid for God is greater than anything on this earth all we need to do is trust.

Q1. Commander of the Armies of the Lord
csreeves replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. The God of Might (
The Commander can't be a part of either side-they must be on his side for he is the Commander. The question should be "Are we on his side?" -
"King of Glory" is a title fot the God I serve meaning to me that he is the highest which there is none other. "Father of Glory" shows me who my Father really is and he fills me with his glory to show all I am his.

I learn that only God is highest in this world and beyond. Lofty seems like he is far away, yet he is closer than my breath and loves me more than life itself. In fact he loves me so much he sent his son to live, die, and live again forever just to show me how much he loves me. I will forever conduct myself as if he was present with me in honor and praise.

"Most High" means to me to refer to our Creator who stands alone as ruler of this world. My worship includes singing, loving, following with trust and faith the "Most High" God everyday of my life.

Abraham & Melchizedek seemed to both serve the God Most High.
