We should rejoice in our tribulations and sufferings because God cares about our lives and He loves us. He still wants to be involved with us. He wants us learn and be like Jesus Perseverabce is important because if we didn't have it we would give up and not learn what God wants us to learn. God would not be happy about that but He would still love us. Tried character is important because it shows Jesus in us. Unbelievers see this in us and wonder what is different about us and want to have it also. When they question us we can tell them what we have: Salvation through Jesus. In hope we are looking forward to heaven and being with Jesus forever. If we love Jesus like He loves us, we should be loving other people the same way like Jesus loved us. So we can give them hope.

Abraham believed God and followed Him. Through Jesus dying on the cross we are considered white as snow in God's eyes. The difference with us and Abraham is we have the holy Spirit to help us.
