Q3. My Body Given for You
Julie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 4. My Body Given for You (Luke 22:19b)
Jesus sacrificed Himself for us to redeem us of our sin so we can be close to God our Father in Heaven -
For it would be clear that Jesus bore all the suffering in His human body.

Q4. Sharers in the Sacrifice
Julie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Being Sharers in the Sacrifice
Wow, we are participating and communing with Christ, as one body in the Church, we all are sharing in Christ sacrifice we all as one are communing with Him. I'm no longer confused about partaking, afraid that I'm not worthy to partake, For I know understand that its done in Remembrance of the Sacrifice the Lord made for us. -
Q3. Priests Eating OT Sacrifices
Julie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Being Sharers in the Sacrifice
The Priests participated by sharing in a portion of the sacrifice. Just as the Priests participated in eating of the sacrifice we participate and share in the sacrifice the Lord made for us. -

Q1. Cup of Lord, Cup of Demons
Julie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Being Sharers in the Sacrifice
Paul was exhorting them for they would know that they can not take part in both, that you can not straddle the fence you have to do one or the other It sounds as if the church was participating in both the sacrifice of Christ and their gods. The danger was they were identifing themselves with false gods, they were commiting idolatry before the Lord, they were sinning against the Lord. -
Q4. Proclaiming Christ's Death
Julie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Remembering and Proclaiming His Death
The Lord's Supper is a proclamation for it is made known to all. This is important for all needs to know about Jesus's death for our sins. If the church shifts to a different theme I feel you remove the New Testament for the death and resurrection of Christ is the foundation of the New Testament without it all is vain and pointless -
Remembrance of Christ death is important for it's Christ's death that saves us. If we neglect to remember His death for us we neglect to remember true Christianity When we personally forget you would feel doomed for you wuld have a life seperated from Christ

Q2. The Passover Feast
Julie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Remembering and Proclaiming His Death
The purose of the Pasover meal for future generatons is to remember when the Lord passed over them when He struck down the egyptians It is to be repeated for the generation will remember The generations are ro remember how God delivered them during the Exodus If the Jews would have stopped the Passover meal would have been forgotten as well as how God had delivered the peope of Israel from Egypt -
No, I do not think when repeared often the Lords supper could lose its meaning Jesus commanded its repetition so we would Proclaim His death till He comes and we would not forget.

Q1. Intimacy
Julie replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. My Body, My Blood -- Literal or Figurative?
When partaking of the Lords Supper, I feel I'm drawn closer to the Lord for I'm reminded of the Lords love for us, which is so great, we break the bread as the Lords body was broke for us and together we eat, we pour the drink just as the Lords blood was shed for us and we together drink, we as one remember the Cross, it is awsome -
1. Hezekiah wanted to be healed in order to continue the promise of a continuance of an offspring of David 2. For God is always willing to answer the prayers of His children that are seeking Him, ones who place their faith in Him, one who gladly obeys Him and wants to walk with Him and carry the Cross 3. God gift of grace is His own favor towards us, we can not earn this, it is given to whom He chooses, whom He favors. If your motive for grace is just to do works, then you will not create this beautiful intimate relationship with the Lord, one in which you will fall in Love with the Lord, one in which you seek diligently to hear His word, to feel His presence and one in which you place all trust in Him. If you are not seeking the Lord He may not choose to listen to your prayer.

1. For God to read 2. For Hezekiah was bringing the problem before God, to fight the battle, we alone can not have victory without God, we must give it all to the Lord 3. By letting the Lord lead, and we walk with Him 4. We rule our world and place faith in our selves or others, we pull are self up by our own bootstraps, and fail in a right relationship with the Lord.

1. I believe when a person does not want to give freely, they are not mature spiritually they have not come to a clear understanding that all good comes from God, and in turn they do not praise Him. 2. For you are not obeying 3. For it is by Gods' hand that we have possessions 4. We should not hold our possessions close to our hearts 5. If you can take the Lord for granted I guess I do for I know I do not praise Him enough for all He does for me, and my family, and I ask Him for forgiveness and to make me a person of praise, I love you Jesus.
