Q1. The Blessing of Abraham
Bro Steven replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Jacob Meets God (Genesis 27:41-28:22)

I think that at different time I show fault of all of them and many more. Every day I wake up and have to deal with them every day. I have to deal with larynx cancer, in which I had my larynx removed. But God is with me all the way and he teaches me many things every day through his word and other books about the word of God. ( If any of you can get any books by A.W. Towzer read them they can do a-lot for you in your growth as well as this study here)

Q5. Loving Unequally
Bro Steven replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Jacob the Deceiver (Genesis 25:19-34; 27:1-41)
My children have not gone through this. On the other hand I have, and it was hard then and now it is even harder, my brother and sister have nothing to do with my parents now but growing up they were the spoiled ones and I was the black sheep. Now with my parents in the nursing home I am the only one that takes care of them. Due to this I will not teat one above the other both are equal to another. -
I think that there is no excuse for Rebeca to push it because God can make it happen any way he wants. This is one reason I believe that God does not tell us his plan for our life or others, more than likely we would try and make it happen our way and not God's way. Now if she went to Issac and told him what God had said then I think she would been alright. Now Jacob should hold responsibility because he knew it was wrong when he said I don't want to be cursed.

I believe that both Rebekah and Isaac were spiritual to a point. The Bible does not tell us much about this but when they went before the Lord he answered them both so there was a relationship between them and the Lord. If they were to be perfect before God they would have Loved both of their children equally and not one before the other( in which this is a trait that is seen in Abraham and will follow through Jacob) Jacob and Esau neither show any spirituality early on there lives. If they were then would not have Esau have not sold his birthright to his brother and Jacob would not have deceived Esau.

Q1. Selling the Birthright
Bro Steven replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Jacob the Deceiver (Genesis 25:19-34; 27:1-41)
The New Testament call Esau a fornicator and a profane person in which is represents that he has no reguard to how God set up how inheritance by given the first born a double portion. Esau would sell what God had given him for some food, which it show that Esau thinks of what the world can give him that what God could Give him. Jacob show showed how he has no reguard to the needs of a brother, this should show us that when we see a need in a brother that we should not take advantage of him for our personal gain. Like in Mathew 25 our Lord talked about this in how we should help those in need because when we do it to the least of these we do it to him. -
Q2. (Judges 6:13) In what way does Gideon blame God for his troubles in verse 13? Is Gideon's assessment accurate? Why or why not? Why do we blame God? What's the danger and how can we stop short of this in the future? He believed that God has forsaken his childeren. But Gidden is wrong he didn't make notice that the childeren had brought this problem upon themselves. Most people today blame God for everything that has happened in their life, due to the fact that many belive that God will fix the things that a person got himself into. If we put God first than we wouldn't be in trouble. By not putting God first then we could go thru life without the pressence of God in our life!!!

Q1. (Judges 6:7-10) According to the prophet, what is the reason for Israel's oppressed state? What commandment did they break? In what way hadn't they "listened"? In what way does this same sin affect Christians today? The nation of Israel did what was evil before God by worshiping the god's of the Ammorites. They put other god's before the Lord God almighty which is the very first commandment of the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:3. They didn't listen to the voice of God when he told them fear not the god's of the Amorites. Many people today will let the littlest thing come between himself and the Lord God almighty,IE fishing hunting shopping T.V. music anything that they desire more than God.

Q5. (Luke 2:17-20) Great joy, praise, curiosity, amazement, telling others, thoughtful meditation. Which of these responses to the Good News are present in your life? In what manner do they show themselves? If some are missing, why? What can you do to recover these responses? I hope all of them at least that is my wish I fell always amazed with the love and grace of God thru his son Jesus. I hope that in every thing that I do reflect all these when i tell others about him and what he has done for me and my life and my family's life as well as the churches life. When i notice that the joy is not there then i start thinking and reading the word of God and I ask God to show me in my life where I have come short and he will show me and then i ask for forgiveness.

Q2. Water of Life
Bro Steven replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #8. We Shall See His Face (Rev 21-22)
Water of life is our salvation a body can not live with out water just as a soul can not live with Jesus with out salvation. It is a free gift that Christ has given to us. -
It is very possible theat Christ could come back anytime and I would keep doing what I'am doing by living my life that glorifies God and preach and teach his word's to all who will hear them.

Q4. Outside the City
Bro Steven replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #8. We Shall See His Face (Rev 21-22)
Our Lord told us that if we love him we will keep his commandments, by our love for one another will show others that we are his. God said be holy for he is holy. Living the holy life glorifies God/Jesus. -
Q3. Holy City, Bride, Church
Bro Steven replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #8. We Shall See His Face (Rev 21-22)
Jesus looks at his church/Bride with love that last forever he will provide and protect the church and shower his bride with the gifts of God. Besides he gave her the best gift that was his blood and eternal life.
