Hello, I just started this Bible Study last week so this is my first week's post. I have read the other posts and know that I am in some awesome and wonderful company here and that what I am writing does not, in any way, shape or form, compare but here goes: [/center]The Lord's presence impsires a soul wrenching awe just as the desert during a breezy cool dawn He gives life to every plant, animal, man as spring provides life to all living things His word is like the water that spills forth life and strength His compassion is like the early afternoon shade that protects new growth from deadly heat His love provides the foundation so that spritual roots can take hold May the purpose and desires of my heart be made pure by his care and guidance and may his protection be with me always

Hi, my name is Christina and I am currently serving in the Army in Iraq. I run missions a lot so can't be at a "regular" Bible study and wanted to draw closer to God. I came across this website and was impressed with all that it had to offer and wanted to give it a shot. Figured it would also be more "time/schedule" friendly so that I could complete a full Bible study. I appreciate this opportunity and am relying upon y'all's help and expertise in this as it my first try and I am EXCITED!!!!! Have never studied Psalms before and think it's cool that I now have the opportunity to do so and to learn how to pray and praise like such a beloved man of God. Tomorrow is Saturday and my first lesson! Yeah! Oh, and I truly miss my babies (2 daughters) and ask for y'all's prayers for their protection and support while I'm gone. Bye now.
