Spiritual poverty and mourning. This mourning that is the sorrow for our shortcomings (our sins against God and against one another) realizing that it is God's goodness that brings us to this place of repentance. It is His love that awakens us to realize that we are sinners and that if we do not repent we will go to hell. Therefore this mourning for our sins is a gift (blessing) from God and his forgiveness just one of His promise with many to follow. Living with spriritual poverty the constant and daily need for Him.

The two parts of the parables are the state of being in this case walking in the Spirit of God and His promises for those who do so. How God's wisdom may seem foolish to man, that is His wisdom compared to this worlds wisdom. The fruit of the spriits are the character traits that which a Christian is endued with once he has been filled with the Holy Spririt and the Beatitudes are how they are lived out.
