We are no longer aliens, we are of the family of God. We are citizens of heaven. God's people and members of God's household

The only way we can be reconciled to God is through the cross, without Christ we are aliens. Through the Lord Jesus Christ we can approach the throne of God with out fear, we can come boldly to the throne of grace. Through Christ, without Him we can do nothing. To love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. We are joined together to become a holy temple.

We are citizens of the Kingdom, God's household. We are holy through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Christ is head over all things, over all powers that be in heavens and earth and the church which is His body here on earth which will be complete at His coming.

They were blind to the extent of the power provided through Jesus Christ, such as most of us. This power is available in each believer and operates from the heart through faith in Christ and the level of this power is equal to the power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead. I don't think we as believers have to pray for this power, it is available to the extent that we believe that Christ in us and working through us is all the power necessary to carry out the work Christ has for us.
