  1. In what ways should your congregation be "a dwelling place for God in the Spirit"? The congregation should be a dwelling place for
  2. The teachings of the Apostles and the Prophets provide a firm foundation to become a Holy Temple with in us for God to Live in our hearts and souls. The teachings help to build a structure to our lives today, showing the steps to build a spiritual foundation for our families and out church. Congregations learn to build on the teachings a strong close-knit relationship with other Christians and a warm loving environment in our Churches Jesus should serve as the cornerstone of our church because he it the redeemer of our sins, he is the strength that holds the church together. A congregation grows in knowledge and fellowship into a holy temple. These things are needed to strengthen the church and a personal relationship with the one and only God: Prayer, study of Gods word, and fellowship with other believers.
  3. It is important to have access to the Father because we need the ability to approach the Father at any time. When we believe in the Father, and follow his laws and guidelines he allows us full access to him to bring our praises, as well as our needs and problems directly to him thought out prayers. Diplomatic Relations gives us a way, a means if you will to be in the presence if our Lord God to approach him to come into his presence. We obtain access to the Father merely by the asking of Jesus into our hearts and believing in him. He directs us to the Throne of the Father. "For no one shall get to the Father except through me. It allows us the ability to know the Lord and his love and to love him with all our hearts. Therefore we have the ability to love others when we have access to God we have the favor of his love and the knowledge of how to love, God in so Awesome .
  4. Members of God's Household tells us the nature of the Church is as a temple, holy ground in which we come to worship the one and only God. God is a caring, demanding, yet loving God; He cares for all, demands our love, and loves abundantly without question. It tells us that the church today should worship with all our heart and the members should be as a family in Christ Jesus, and the church family, which God has assigned to them. Christians that are not faithful, have many problems, hurts, wounds and hard backgrounds. When we allow God to Control our lives we can find peace. Sure we will still have our trials but through our Faith and Trust in God "We shall overcome"
  5. We are children of God instructed to carry his words through out the lands, therefor we are citizens of God's Kingdom. We are Saints in the sense of our work spreading God's word.
  6. (Ephesians 3:20-21) Where does God's power work according to verse 20? Through Faith in the believers and the Church. God's power must be spread through your Faith and others be able to see the Faith in you. How much power is at work there quantitatively? There is abundant power given to those who believe and live for God and exault his praises. Why isn't it more evident? It is not more evident because most church's do not have to love of God in their hearts. A church must have Love for one another in order to Love Jesus an praise and worship him as he wants to be and so richly deserves. How does exercising Christ's power on earth bring glory to God? When we excercise Christ's power on earth we bring Glory to God because we spread His word to others and he see's the Faith we have to carry his word through out the earth.
  7. Q4: (Ephesians 1:23) A. What does it mean for us Christians that Christ is "head over everything for the church"? That Christ is the Head of the chuch and all things in it. B. What does this say about the Church's power? Exposition The more we abide by his wishes and support our church and church family the stronger our church becomes. LIVE for JESUS HE DIED for YOU
  8. Q3. (Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? I feel the significance of Paul's statement is that we have gift from God to have eternal life if we follow Jesus and believe in him. If we confess that we believe Jesus died on the cross and rose again we receive the gift of Salvation and eternal life. We have the power to do all things through Jesus Christ if we allow him to be in complete control of our live and rebuke the demons. If we have an intimate relationship with Jesus and worship him at all times we have the power to over come all obstacles that come our way. If we put Jesus first in our lives he will provide our every need including eternal life
  9. 2A) Paul was telling them that Christ was raised from the dead and seated at the right hand of God. Therefore has the authority and power of all things that was given by God including the Heavenly Realms. 2B) That Christ is the ruler of all. That all spirit beings are beneath him.
  10. Ephesians 1:19) 1A) Why does Paul pray that God would open the Ephesians' eyes to discern "his incomparably great power"? Paul wanted us to see things the way God intended for us to see them. 1B) What is wrong with their eyes? Where does this power operate according to 1:19? Their eyes were blinded by the things of the world not open to the things of God. 1C) Which miraculous event does Paul use as an example of this level and type of power? Christ Jesus being crucified on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world and our salvation.
