Jesus's testimony tells us that he cannot tell anything that is false because he did die and was raised again and that he rules over us as the sovereign King of Kings and that he(Jesus) is with the Father and that everything the Word says about them is true

The difference between the two speakers is none. The passages tell me that God and Jesus are one and the same and that both were there at the beginning of time and will be there when time ends. They also tell me that they are the one and only GOD and that we should praise and worship them as the only true GOD.
