Q4. Letting God Fight the Battle

Recommended Posts

Why do we tend to fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than using spiritual weapons?

Most fight their battle(s) in the flesh because they are in the flesh. Not necessarily that they are committing a sinful act, but more so because God has gifted humans with a will, strength, and talents / gifts / abilities. We being human beings often tend to lean on our own understanding and not follow the Spirits leading, we move in what we see, and often acted within our own reasoning. Unfortunately many will turn to God only after they have failed in their own ability.

It would be nice to say that most Christians are Spiritual enough, that they dwell in a Spiritual realm, yet let someone offend them. God gifted us with emotions, and they are a blessed gift, however sometimes we are lead by them, sometimes we make decisions by or because of our feelings and therefore sometime when we fight we fight in the flesh rather then turning the thing over to God. We don't like waiting so we sometimes react. Using Spiritual weaponry may take too long, we use our own strength, talent, ability or gift to accomplish what we will. We use our spirit more so than The Spirits arsenal.

2nd Corinthians 10:3 and other passages tells us how a Christian should war, but often it is in reverse.

Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy?

I understand the question, however my response is from a different perspective, I don't believe that we (Christians) mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy. I believe that because in the natural we war in these bodies that's where we lash out. We feel, see, hear, smell, and touch in the natural as does whomever the evil one places his influence. Therefore if it becomes physical we reach out and touch; if it is verbal we say what is believed to hurt to most or gain the greatest attention; what we hear we respond in a manner that we feel will is justifiable or will nullify that which was spoken.

When will God fight our battles When we let Him!

God will fight any battle He has anointed us to be in. God will fight our battles if the battle(s) as they are in His will and not ours!

and when won't he?

When we fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than using spiritual weapons. If we are in a fight that we got ourselves into because we have turned our own way and followed what we wanted instead of what God has ordained for us, He will patiently wait for us to realize this and lead us, once again, on a path He has chosen for us. David was a man after God's own heart yet he walk in the flesh quite often.

Thank God that His mercies are renewed, thank Him for His Grace, and thank Him for the measure of faith that He gives!

1. Why do we tend to fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than using spiritual weapons? At first, as spiritual babies, we are fragile, irresponsible, milk-drinking infants who lack discernment and strength. But as time passes, we should begin to grow up spiritually . Rom:13; 12. "So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light. 2.Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy? We humans, born in sin,use the animal instinct at times. Fight or flight! The shoot first and ask questions later society must stop."Forgive them Father for they know not what they do" Maybe we had better draw from the inner spiritual strength within us first. 3. When will God fight our battles and when won't He? Worshipping and glorifying the Lord comes first. Anything asked in humble obedience to His will would have me believe that our Father would help me. In arrogant rudeness and selfish motives would I know that God would flatly refuse to acknowledge me.

Q 4 WHY do we tend to fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than using spiritual weapons? The most common thing is usally it is the way to answer quickly without thinking the problem through, we get in a hurry an often say something that should have not been said; if we were praying about giving the right answer it would be totally different and the outcome would have been correct.---Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy? We don't want to think that we could be wrong and want to blame someone else for our neglect and over reacting, a spiritual person of God would not conduct him or her self in this fashion.--------When will God fight our battles---and when won't he? You can be sure of one thing if it's for the uplifting or helping the work of God to be carrried on, God will be right by your side and all worry is over, but if you want to take control and do it your way, God will step out of the scene, God has no part with conflicts and confusion in the church. What kind of example would we be protraying, God is not an author of confusion.

:unsure:Q4. Why do we tend to fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than using spiritual weapons?

We must first make sure our battle is a spiritual battle and not one we have brought on our selves.

Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy?

I have to think of Moses who audibly heard God speak, and yet he had many questions for God, we too must make sure we understand what direction, and what process does God want us to go through and do, there is an enemy that would like to blind us, using the enemy of the flesh, so it is most important we put on our armor daily, it is important we stay in prayer and bring our questions before our God as Moses did, so that we do not walk in the flesh, when we bring our questions to God, dont allow Satan to make you think you no longer are walking in faith - it isnt a lack of faith, it is wisdom, wisdom is asking God what to do when we have doubts and questions, God will speak to our heart through the Holy Spirit, Who guides us unto all truths.

When will God fight our battles -- and when won't he?

We have been purchased with a great price and are called to walk in faith and obedience to the God of Israel, the God whose Son has reconciled us to, and as we walk in faith and obedience we can be assured God will be there, just as Moses was looking through the glass darkly and did not understand why there was not an immediate result, yet he continued to walk in faith - believing God will do what He said he will do.

In order for God to fight our battles, we too must stay in faith, especially when we dont see instant results to the battles that are being fought; we are to continue in faith, as Moses did. Faith is an action word; without faith it is impossible to please God Almighty.

Why do we tend to fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than using spiritual weapons?

We fight our battles in the flesh because we are living in the flesh we see only those things that are tangible

and try to resolve those issues in the flesh. We tend to forget that there are spiritual forces at work around us all the time, which can influence our behavior. The forces of good and bad are constantly at war with each other fighting to gain control over us. We must remember that we wrestle not with flesh and blood but against demonic forces that are trying to gain control over us. I once read a book "The Present Darkness" which reveals how angels and demons can influence our behavior. We must be mindful of what is going on in this spiritual world, which we cannot see so that it will not govern our lives inappropriately.

Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy?

See above.

When will God fight our battles and when won't he?

God always stands ready to fight our battles especially over the forces of darkness. But sometimes I think he wants

us to have a role in those battles as well. They could be a test of our strength of the Holy Spirit within us to determine our faithfulness . With each confrontation we should gain that much more confidence and boldness. This is our purpose and this is our mission.

Q4. Why do we tend to fight our battles “in the flesh” rather than using spiritual weapons? Old habits do not die easy, many of us simply forget that its a spiritual (spirit) warfare and not a physical warfare. We tend to see the person, but not the spirit behind the person. Some people only believe what they see with their physical eyes and this is a major mistake in spiritual warfare. As stated in Ephesians 6:12 We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. The spirit realm is real and the sooner we realize its not the person, but the spirit inside the person the better off we shall be as we go to spiritual war. Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy? When will God fight our battles – and when won’t he?God will fight our battles when #1 We ask (pray for help) #2 We obey #3 When we trust him and give the situation to him. It is Gods pleasure to fight on our behalf and he will do it over and over again if we implement our trust, obedience and faith in him. Our God is an awesome God!

Q4. Why do we tend to fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than using spiritual weapons? Why do we so often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy? When will God fight our battles -- and when won't he?

We know that while he was born in the flesh and did indeed have a human nature, he also remained fully God and had a divine nature as well. We will strive to conquer our will, we will fight to overcome our passions, we will learn the tactics of the demons and the subversive and learn to fight against them, trying as hard as we can to live like Christ and how God wants us to. It is not enough to say

I think we tend to fight our battles by the flesh rather than using spiritual weapons due to our human stubborness. We dont want to trust the Lord that He will make us win the battle.

We do often mistake the human enemy for the spiritual enemy because of our little faith.

God will fight our battles if they are battles of faith and prayer. He will not fight our battles if we make them our own.

We tend to fight our battles "in the flesh" rather than use spiritual weapons because we feel the need to fight our own battles. It is difficult for some to admit they need the Lord's help in fighting their battles with the enemy.

We often mistake our human enemy for our spiritual enemy because we can see our human enemy, but not our spiritual enemy.

God will fight our battles when we obey His commands and when we admit we can't rely on our own strength.

He won't fight our battles if we are living in sin or if we have the attitude that we don't need His help.

We tend to fight in the flesh when our understanding is cloudy. In the end, like Moses, he knew when to let go and let God, when he said to Pharoah: "I will never appear before you again.'" (10:28-29) It was time for God to release the final plague and Moses knew it. God will fight our battles when we recognize that He, alone, is God. When we act, not out of our own feelings but on His Word. He will not act on our being offended or other human motivations. We must recognize when it is over for us and on for God! "Let God arise, and let his enemies be scattered" Psalm 68:1 Praise the Lord!! B)

We tend to fight "in the flesh" rather than "spirit" because of our natural weakness to get anything near and easy first and after we have time to think and/or discern then we'll think of the spiritual ways. We need to be trained about self-awareness and gain more experiences in real battles through the Helps of God always.

We often mistaken the enemies for we can see much more easier physical enemies than the spiritual ones; we have to pray to our Good Lord to bless us with HIS Grace that we can be aware of more spiritual enemies.

We can always have HIS Support whenever we fight for HIS Will, HIS Might and HIS Glorious Namesake, and we do not have HIM with us whenever it is opposite to the said ones.
