andyho1
Q4. (Exodus 14:4, 17-18) Why is Gods glory important in the Exodus? How is recognition of his glory important to faith? To holiness? To reverence? What happens when leaders take for themselves the credit and glory that should go only to God? How can leaders keep themselves from pride? Why is Gods glory important in the Exodus? God's glory is important because by he is god, and getting the glory during the exodus, tell us that he not only delivered the Israelites, but he also destroyed their enemies the Egyptians - an enemy who has also challenged him personally. How is recognition of his glory important to faith? To holiness? To reverence? To recognized God's glory is important to our faith, holiness, and reverence because it is a way we can express our confidence and trust in Him as well appreciating Him for what He has done for us and is doing for us. What happens when leaders take for themselves the credit and glory that should go only to God? How can leaders keep themselves from pride? If we take God's glory and make it our own, this is an act of blasphemy that is a sin, and so Leaders should show and demonstrate humbleness, with humility and graciousness, thankfulness to God only when the credit belongs to God alone. haar
God's glory is important in Exodus because the Isralelites had been in Egypt for about 400 years and were under slavery for most of this period. The Egyptians had superiority complex and Pharaoh himself who was god needed to be shown that there was a Superior God. Furthermore, The Israelites had a lower sence of value of their God and themselves and thus it was necessary for God to show them that He was superior to any other god. Recognition of God's glory would boost their faith, cause them to endeavour to walk in holiness and to have reverence for God. When leaders take credit for themselves for what God had done, they attract the wrath of God because He has stated that He would not share His glory with any body. russellt77
God's glory is important in the Exodus to let the world know that "there is a new Sheriff in town." Recognition of his glory is important in that through our fear in God we obey his laws. When leaders take credit for achievements instead of bestowing them unto the Glory of God...then they upset God for it is he that provides our talents and abilities. Leaders can keep themselves from pride by praising God for their successes and failures.

Ramon
4. (Exodus 14:4, 17-18) Why is God's glory important in the Exodus? How is recognition of his glory important to faith? To holiness? To reverence? What happens when leaders take for themselves the credit and glory that should go only to God? How can leaders keep themselves from pride? Answer: 1Why is God's glory important in the Exodus? God needs to impose His POWER to the unbelieving Egyptians, and to reinforce his power to the Hebrew people. The Egyptians, despite the plagues that came one after the other, doesn't really fear the God of Moses, and the Hebrew people..And without fear, there is also no respect. They(the Egyptians)are the most powerful army during their time, and theie invincibility, might have added to their arrogance. The Egyptians people has also a lot of God,and they might be thinking that Their God is equal to the Ever Powerful living God. So after the parting of the Red Sea,and the eventual death of the Egyptian Army..The Hebrew people,is very thankful, and believe GOD. Exodus 14:31- And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians : and the people feared the LORD , and believed the LORD , and his servant Moses And the news of this event spread abroad, and instill fear among the people. 2.How is recognition of his glory important to faith? To holiness? To reverence? Because of the display of God's power and glory, the people feared and revered God. Exodus 15:14-16-14 The people shall hear , and be afraid : sorrowshall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina . 15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed ; the mighty men of Moab , trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away . 16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone ; till thy people pass over , O LORD , till the people pass over , which thou hast purchased . 3What happens when leaders take for themselves the credit and glory that should go only to God? They are selfish leaders, false teachers, false prophets...Jesus said in John 15:5..THAT WITHOUT HIM,WE CAN DO NOTHING... 4.How can leaders keep themselves from pride? By always recognizing, who they are in Christ....Their union with Jesus Christ,is the only reason why they are what and whom they are. Goshener
Answering to Q.4: God's Glory is important to the Exodus for on this earth there is nothing that doesnot belong to HIM, whatever we do we must boast in HIS Glory especially the HELPS and GRACE he bestow or impart to us; furthermore, everything will be fulfill according to the words of prophets. The Glory of HIM puts more faith into their hearts for they really see the holy deeds and of course, they will naturally believe and give more reverence to God. When leaders take for themselves the rewards of their deeds which belong to God, I suppose they can live with that pride not for long; for our God is the God of jealous and HE will mangae that those leaders will realize pretty soon that the said rewards do not belong to them. Leaders should always aware of themselves that they are just normal servants who just finish one of the jop assigned to them for the Glory of God whilst asking or waiting for the job next one. That is, to thank God to let and help them accomplish the past ones and asking God for the Grace of being more humble.

Noke
God's glory is important in the Exodus because God is a God of power and what He commands should not be undermined as Pharoah did to defy His word to let the Israelites go. The Egyptian religion regards Pharoah as their God, and therefore the recognition of God's glory is important: to faith to show who the true God is, so as to be honored and respected. To holiness to be glorified. To reverence to be respected and obeyed. When leaders take for themselves the credit and glory that should go only to God, God gets forgotten and that's when idolatry begin to be practiced. Leaders can keep themselves from pride by being humble to people and giving the credit and glory to God all the time.

quilter
1.GOD WANTED THEM TO KNOW THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. WITH ALL THE HAPPENS I THINK THEY WILL REALIZE IT. IF YOU HAV NO FAITH HOW CAN YOU BELIEVE THERE IS A GOD.IF YOU BELIVE IN GOD AND LIVE YOUR LIVE FOR HIM THEN HE IS THE HOLIEST OF THE HOLIEST. IT ALL COMES BACK TO BELIVEING. WE DO NOTHING BY OURSELVES. GOD IS IN CONTROL. LEADERS GET SO CAUGHT UP IN THEMSELVES THEY FORGET GOD. WHILE WE ARE ON THIS SUBJECT PLEASE PRAY FOR ME I AM HAVING PROBLEMS GOING TO MY CHURCH BECAUCE OF THIS PROBLEM. WE GO TO THE CHURCH TO WORSHIP OUR MIGHTY SAVIOR. TO MUCH OTHER STUFF GETS THROWED IN TO THE SERMON. LEADERS NEED TO FOLLOW GOD'S DIRECTIOS NOT THEIR OWN.
