johnd
Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? In what sense could we reign? In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom? Our destiny as believers will include reigning as we will help our Lord and Jesus to maintain authority over His kingdom. This is a very thought provoking question and not one I'm finding easy to answer. We serve as priests by committing our lives to Christ. We serve God and obey His commands. Part of our duty as priests is to teach the gospel with the help of the Holy Spirit. This witnessing of Christ is a command from our Lord. An online dictionary gave me this definition for kingdom - 'The eternal spiritual sovereignty of God or Christ. The realm of this sovereignty'. We are a kingdom in the sense of God's kingdom which is everything He created and which we of course are part of.
sister
We are members of God's kingdom because we are saved believers. We are His priests doing the work of priests on earth by spreading the gospel in our time and in the time to come.
charlenereeves
Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? In what sense could we reign? In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom? We as believers are children and friends of our God thus by our humility and repentance we became priests for Jesus make us worthy. Each one of us has the Kingdom inside us for this is where Jesus is
roywilson
This refers to the previous verse where the twenty-four elders and four living creatures speak of those who have been purchased by the blood of Christ. This is a new order, the old has passed away. This order is being perfected by Christ Himself. These are those destined by Christ to rule with Him in His new Kingdom. These are those He has given His life to gain the right to their souls. This group also serves as priests, offering eternal praise for the work of the Lamb. He hovers over us with praise. These are those who have overcome. They have not been destroyed by the false teachings that have infiltrated the church.
Craig
This song of redemption (verses 9-10) reiterated the fact of that believers are a kingdom of priests, thus having the priviledge of representing themselves and others to God. Some interpret the statement "and they shall reign on earth" to be positive proof that Christians will participate with Christ in a literal reign on earth. Yet others maintain that the reign on earth is spiritual in nature and is presently taking place. Believers are members of, and identify with, the Kingdom of God in and through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Our loyality and alliegiance is with our Lord God. Heaven is our destination. Jesus taught us to focus on the Kingdom of God and not the world.
plethra
Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? In what sense could we reign? In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom? Our destiny includes reigning because HE has given us power and authority even now to tread on serpents, to heal the sick, to recover sight to the blind, cast out demons. To take authority over spiritual wickedness. To seek and save that which is lost. To do warfare against hell. We are rulers NOW! When we get to heaven we will have even more power given to us by God and more authority. We become part of God's Kingdom the moment we give our lives over to HIM. God being KING and we being rulers and leaders.

JustJeff
To the degree that Jesus will return and look for those who will rule with a rod of iron, and as joint heirs with Him, we, who are His saints, will also reign with Him. We will worship the Lord day and night, offering Him sacrifices of praise and serving Him for eternity. This is a job which priests do. We are His people and His people comprise His Kingdom. dharm
We will reign with Jesus because we are true believers of His diety and for that we have inherited His Kingdom. Linda Spilman
Q.4 To me these questions are difficult. Part of the difficulty is determining if the question applies to the present or the future. With this in mind I am answering the first two questions as being in the future and the last two questions as the present. "If we endure, We shall also reign with Him." 2 Timothy 2:12 Without Christ sin and death reigns (to be or become a king or queen) over us. Remaining faithful guarantees that we will be in God's presence and we will reign because we are with Him (in the KING's presence). Priests served God. Those serving the true God included the Aaronic priests and the Levitical priests. Those coming from Aaron served as High Priest (Day of Atonement/Holy of Holies) and the Levitical priests were involved with the various duties concerning the tabernacle/temple. Jesus shed blood allows us to come into God's presence and as a redeemed people we serve God. This may involve various activities preceded by prayer and a desire to please God. Though the kingdom is both present and future we in the kingdom now acknowledge and live as those knowing that God has absolute dominion in the universe both in a physical and spiritual sense. mags
Corporately believers are a kingdom - individually we are priests to God. Through faith we are destined to share Christ's rule both spiritually and physically. As our bodies will not be as they are now we will have the ability to operate both physically and spiritually. masika
Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? In what sense could we reign? In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom? Just like the apostles and Jesus Christ, we, too, are going to be kings and priests on earth, where the Kingdom will be located. Thus, we find that God is producing a community, and that community is a nation as well as a Family. The members of that Family are brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ, and we all have a common Father

ising4ujc
Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? In what sense could we reign? In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom? According to Rev 20:4-6, those souls who have been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus, for proclaiming the Word, and who have not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their forehead or their hands, will reign with G-d for a thousand years. They will reign with Him because they are worthy. We reign in the sense that we sit at the Right Hand of G-d with Christ, it also means that we will be "caught up in" the first resurrection with Christ. We are a kingdom because we are children of G-d and we reign with Him.
Delivered
Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? Christ will reign with an iron rod of righteousness, we believers are called to be a righteous people, our rule and reign will be by righteousness, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. In what sense could we reign? We who believe in the Son of God are called to be priests unto the Father. Our reign will be by God's commands; it will be the rule of the Kingdom, for righteousness will rule. In what sense do we serve as priests? We are called to be priests, a holy people, servants unto God, and never are we to take the grace of God and turn it into lascivious living. In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom? Ifr Christ lives in us via the Holy Spirit, and He reigns forever, then our destiny is to reign as the Father/Lord's children and as the disciples of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Hosanna in the highest! Since He ransomed us, we are in overdrive with Joy and are as complete as human beings can be at any moment in their walk with Him. It is our delight to observe attentively during each moment what the Lord will bring into our sphere of influence, and what we should do to glorify Him at every moment. We are the kingdom, we are his bride at part of our church. Jesus said my kingdom is coming and it is here, the time when all will worship in spirit and truth. So let us rejoyce and be ready to serve Him at all moments.

Commissioned
Q4. (Revelation 5:10) How can our destiny as believers include reigning? In what sense could we reign? In what sense do we serve as priests? In what sense are we a kingdom? We are told that our destiny as believers include reigning. In Ephesians 2:4-6 (KJV) the Apostle tells us that, "God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" And John tells us that God, in Revelation 5:10 (KJV), "... hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." Seated together with Christ in heavenly places we reign with Him. We serve as priests in our continuous oblations to our worthy God. We are we a kingdom under the rule of God.
