God does not want to muzzle or bridle His people like a horse. he expects His servants to respond promptly to Him of their own accord.

He calls for all the righteous to join him in public praise of the wonder of God's mercy.

We doubt God's Character (32:1-2)

The reason we often times delay confession, to our own detriment , is because we forget this, or we don't understand this about God, and so we conceal and hide our sin-from God and other.

In the same way that our physical bodies can become I'll our souls, our spirits within us an become I'll too. Confession to God is the remedy.

Blessed is he whose transgression are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.

Q5. (Psalm 32:8-10) How does sin make us stubborn? Why is it nearly impossible to discern God’s will for us when we hold on to unconfessed sin.

Sin makes us stubborn when we refuse to repent of it and be forgiven. It is nearly impossible to discern God's will for us when we hold on to unconfessed sin because we refuse to acknowledge that our way is not God's way.

Sin creates a belief that we are in charge of our own life. As long as we remain in sin we buy into the fact that we are god and there is none other. This leaves no room for any other.

Q5. (Psalm 32:8-10) How does sin make us stubborn? It's a snare. Sometimes we stay trapped because we want to and other times because we're too afraid or ashamed to ask for help to get out of it.

Why is it nearly impossible to discern God’s will for us when we hold on to unconfessed sin. The Holy Spirit continues to prod us to confess. It troubles us when we continue acting as if we've done nothing wrong.
