dlite80
The significance of the same quality of worship being offered both to God the Father and Jesus Christ is that they are both ONE. They represent part of the Trinity along with the Holy Spirit, and therefore, They are worthy of all the praise and glory! They are the same personhood with different and complementary roles fulfilling the same purpose ; the Father seated on the throne, created all things and by His will all things exist and were created. Whereas, Jesus was slain, redeeming lost mankind to God now seated at the right hand of the Father and fulfilling the Father
Lion of Grace
The significance of the same quality of worship being due to the Father and the Son is that they are one. What does this tell us about their relationship? That they are one God with three (Including the Holy Spirit)separate personalities. They are in complete unity with one another. When the Father sent the Son, then He also came to be with us. God with us. It's hard for us to understand, but by faith it becomes an easier concept and an awesome one, resulting in more praise and worship because of who He is and how He works and the wisdom He holds! None like Him. Really! It's beyond our capacity, so sometimes simple faith and face down thanks is all we can do. Their relationship to us is similar. They share everything they have with us, by being in us and at one with us as they are at one with each other. We though, can't BE God, but we ARE children of God and share in His glory. Amazing!!! All generous gifts from our God. His kindnesses never seem to end!
Mark Smith
Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us? Jesus = God. They are one in the same. When we worship the Son, we are worshiping the Father. It's like the answer to the question,"should I pray to God the Father, God the Son, or God the Holy Spirit." The answer to both questions is "yes." van
The significance of the quality of worship for both God the Father and Jesus Christ is seen through the Godhead. God the Son was born into the world and named Jesus Christ because we as sinners needed a sacrifice in order to have a chance to get to heaven. We must worship both in Spirit and in truth and this can only be done through the third person of the Godhead, God the Holy Spirit who indwells in believers. Our bodies are a temple of God because He is our creator. Their relationship to each other is the Godhead (Trinity). Jesus Christ is also called the Spirit of Truth and He said that Him and the Father are one. No one goes to the Father but through Christ because He is the way, the truth and the life. The one who sits on the throne and the Lamb are the same being. They are also The Trinity. Their relationship to us is Our Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. The three in one. Constantly abiding in us is the Holy Spirit. But, we are surrounded by the three in one. All three are one and one is all three.

rn_flobow
As humans, we have negative "traits" such as Jealousy and Envy......Here, we see the Father and Son fully glorified without need for those types of negative emotions or reactions. They are truly ONE and as true spiritual beings we are part of that oneness. You cannot be jealous in a rational way or have these other negative qualities toward yourself! *smiles* So, what we see is TRUE Spirit and Beauty here......Praise God! JoanG
The Father and Son are parts of the Holy Trinity. We worship them as one because of their combination within each other. We show honor and love evenly to them. Because of the fact that they are so close, we are in union with both of them. We are brothers and sisters of Christ and thus we belong to the Father. There no longer is a barrier to Them and Their love.
Old Jerry
The significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son is they are interconnected some way. Jesus was fully God and was fully man so we can relate to Jesus. The Father loved us so much that He sent his Son to die for our sins. That is a relationship to us that I will probably understand. TraceyF
God is the father of Jesus. John 14:6- No Man cometh unto the Father except through Jesus! In order to be saved we have to believe Jesus is God's son and Jesus died on the cross for our sins. We are his children and will obey and follow his words and his plan he has for us. God allowing his Son to die on the cross for us shows what real love means. As well as, all the forgiving he gives when we repent of our wicked ways.
