jesus4al
Q4. (13:1-18, optional) The two beasts belong to the period of the ascendancy of the Antichrist at the very end of the Last Days. Together with 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, summarize what have you learned about the Antichrist and the False Prophet? God can use anyone and anything to further His purposes, even the anti-christ. Those who do not believe Jesus Christ is The Son of God; will fall for the anti-christ propaganda. That will be, or course, that he, the anti-christ, is God. This will be agreed to by the false prophet.
aguilar-j
All through the history of christianity we have seen persecution and we have seen glorification. Today we must be careful not to listen to the one that comes as "angel of light" We must lean in God's understanding and as the church in thessalonia we must suffer with strong conviction that Jesus is our Savior and in His name we walk in a sober life. The victory is ours be with God always. Jesus A.
Jen
Their power is given them by Satan to deceive. Satan wants to destroy as many as he can. They have deluding influence sent by God to punish those who do not love truth. They will be punished for all eternity. We need to pray. There are no second chances. Marilyn Rivington
The antichrist, the false prophet and satan are an unholy trinity that will appear in the last days and even some of the elect will be deceived (Mark 13:22). We need to be diligent, prayerful and walk in the promise of Jesus, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. cct1106
Let no one decive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdiition. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; The stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Candygoo58
This is the time that the antichrist and the False Prophets shall come in and deceive many for the Lord Jesus Christ will send a delusion to make sure they believe him. He will do many thing miracles and works like that Jesus did to fool those who are not walking in the faith and love our Lord. Many will go so far as to worship him as God since he will set himself up as God and many will follow him. We must be rooted and grounded in the word so not to believe anything that is not in the bible. All of them will be punished, because they would rather do evil than believe the truth. TennLady01
Many will be deceived and believe he is God and he 4 He will brag and oppose everything that is holy or sacred. Lost people will be fooled by his evil deeds. They could be saved, but they will refuse to love the truth and accept it. So God will make sure that they are fooled into believing a lie. All of them will be punished, because they would rather do evil than believe the truth. It warms us not to be deceived by him We must know the word of God and hold fast to it so that we are not deceived by any of the things done by the False Prophet. We need to remember to be ready in season and out of season in other words at all times for the coming of our Lord. Keep your eyes on the sky and read the word believe only the word. Julie
The antichrist will appear and perform signs and wonders to lead people astray, he is mainly going after the saints, for he already has the unsaved, he will try to decieve the saints by rebuilding the temple and acting as though he is God, he will demand worship and sit in the temple, he will rage war on all that do not follow him and he will demand that all take a mark of the beast, the false prophet or prophets work with the antichrist he will be the one that forces people to worship the antichrist or die. We all know that the antichrist is going to appear and act as though he is God, he does this by doing the things that Jesus says he will do when he returns, but we all know that when Jesus returns we will be taken up, some are taught that we will be taken up before the antichrist appears or when the antichrist appears and will not have to endure any part of the tribulation or the persecution, could this be the great falling away of the church, for the saints that believe we do not have to endure this will be confused as what is happening and then might fall for the antichrist when he trys to decieve us in this way. I beg everyone to read your Bible, and put to test the word of man.
ckghayden
Satans chief instrument is the antichrist and his spokesman the beast of the earth. They are both Satan inspired. They will deceive by being non-threatening, gentle and appealing; however, the voice is Satans. They will deceive the unbelievers, especially with a great miracle of fire to come down from heaven. This however is God sending judgement on the unbelievers. We must continually be on guard against Satan's wiles and keep faith strong. God will protect his own forever and ever. Darleen Nelson
Throughout time there have been those who were hostile to everything God stands for. We must not label any person as the antichrist or try to predict Crist's return as even Christ doesn't know. No one knows but the Father when this will be. We must be ready daily for Christ's return We have no need to fear what lies ahead as long as our faith is strong and we know that our hope is that ultimately God's control over the atnichrist will win out. False miracles wll draw non-believers in their web and cause them to trust in the antichrist. satan will use this power to lead people away from God. eggsandbacon
More political power than anyone in history. All nations under his authority. He killed believers and called himself god. He was worshiped, feared, idolised. Anybody who would not choose to follow Jesus would choose to follow him. Strange days indeed. But his name is not in the book of life. The embodiment of everything that is against God.
Helen Spaulding
Q4. (13:1-18, optional) The two beasts belong to the period of the ascendancy of the Antichrist at the very end of the Last Days. Together with 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, summarize what have you learned about the Antichrist and the False Prophet? The first beast that comes out of the sea (the antichrist) will be the confederation of ten nations that help satan as he tries to overcome the saints in the world. The second beast comes from the earth and causes the people to worship the first beast. He is the false prophet, with powers to do miracles and prophesy. These false "copies" of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will try to capture the saints living in those days and bind them to him in unholy glee! But he is defeated! We do not need to fear him if we hold closely to our Lord Jesus! Praise Jesus, and His holy name!
kitty
The anti-Christ is a man who is going to try and replicate everything that Jesus did on earth. With signs and miraclous wonders. The false prophet who is going to come after the ant-christ is like John the Baptist. Who told everyone about the Messiah who is coming. The false prophet's job is to sway anyone who will listen, to believe in the anti-christ, instead of Jesus. The anti-Christ is going to try to be God. Emy Oliveros
What I have learned from these two passages, Rev. 13:1-18 and 2 Thes. 2:1-12, about the Antichrist and the False Prophet are: 1. The first beast is the Antichrist. The second beast is the False Prophet. 2. The Antichrist exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped - he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. The False Prophet demands worship for the Antichrist from those that dwell in the earth by deception. 3. The Antichrist will show power and signs and lying wonders and will make war with the saints and all people. The False Prophet has the same power and will deceive those that dwell in the earth and caused them to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. My prayer is that we may not let anyone deceive us in any way, let us know our God and His word and test every spirit that comes our way. May we continue to overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of our testimony and remain faithful witness until the end. May our God help us! Together with 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, summarize what have you learned about the Antichrist and the False Prophet? Summarize what you learned about the Antichrist and the False Prophet:The symbolic figures teach the lesson of the faithful witnessing Church who will antagonize enemies in the world. These enemies are dupes of Satan and part of a spiritual warfare between Satan and God. The Dragon; is an imitation of Christ and is Satan. He will be allowed the authority over the earth for 42 months to deceive many. He will make war with the saints by using 1. The Antichrist; who is the Beast out of the Sea (Rev. 13:1-10) He will come first and is a false christ who exalts himself as God. He will be given the authority to make war. and by using 2. The False Prophet; who is the Beast out of the Earth (Rev. 13:11-18). He will come second: He will have the same authority as the Antichrist, but he will cause many people even God

Together with 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, summarize what have you learned about the Antichrist and the False Prophet? These antichrists have lived in every generation and will continue to work their evil.We must stand firm in what we believe in.Our task is to be prepared for Christ's return and to spread the true gospel so that even more people will also be prepared. The antichrist's and False Prophets are destruction, and try to destroy our world and seperate people from God. Jesus Christ is the worlds only hope. The evil will not prevail because Christ is returning for his Bride(The Church). We as believers should gather as many as we can ,bringing in the Harvest, leading Gods people to Christ Jesus our Saviour of this world. The Lamb of God . linda biloni
The antichrist -- will be resurrected and indwelt by satan. He represents control of governments and nations. He will have the power to make war against the saints and conquer them. The false prophet-- represents religious control. He receives his power from the antichrist and performs miracles which deceives men and causes them to worship the antichrist.
dantanc
Antichrist. In 2Thess 2:1-12 we learn that the secret power of antichrist is already at work, but the Holy Spirit has been holding it back. The moment Holy Spirit stops restraining, antichrist will start his rebellion, with all the power given unto him by the Dragon, satan. He exalts himself above God, sits in the temple as though he is God. "Who is he a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is Christ? He is antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son." 1 Jn 2:22. He will be the most powerful and perverted man to walk on the paths of the earth. He briefly rules over all the nations but he is utterly crushed by the Lord Jesus Christ at the battle of Armageddon. and thrown into the lake of fire, along with falseprophet. False Prophet: False prophet is the other beast coming out of the sea, tries to copy the work of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit leads men into truth while the falseprophet leads men into all types of error and sin. He tries to make the inhabitants of the earth worship the first beast, the antichrist. He also tries to put the mark of Satan 666 on the foreheads of people. Yes, now and in the end days, we have to test everything by the WORD of GOD and fall down only before Jesus Christ and worship HIM . Aboveall ask God for discernment with the help of Holy Spirit, against the works of satan,
ora
THEY ARE FALSE THAT WHY WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE BIBLE SAY , IT'S WORDS ARE TRUE (BIBLE). IF WE REJECT THE TRUTH WE WILL BE DECEIVED THE ANTICHRIST WILL CLAIME TO BE GOD, WILL RULE THE WHOLE WORLD. THERE IS AN UNHOLY TRINITY (SATAN OPPOSES THE FATHER, ANTICHRIST OPPOSES THE SON, THE FALSE PROPHET OPPOSES THE HOLY SPIRIT.)
heatherdills
The Antichrist will astound people bystretching out every conceivable thought we can reason and will blaspheme against God, as well as persecute those who follow Christ. rehug
I have spent a lot of time thinking of this question and the others and have realized that to get a good understanding of Revelations one has to have understanding of the Book of Daniel with it's Revelations (unveilings ) 13:1 the beast with seven heads and ten horns we get the sense of demonic reality with (what it claims as perfecton) it's complete and perfect rulers (Roman emperors). the marking 666 which the beast is refered (13:18) is it's total incompleteness and is also interperted as the most evil or the superlative evil. This demonic beast is the antitheses of the "one like a son of man" that symbolizes Christ (777 - most perfect) . We need to be very aware of those who try to pass themselves off as Christ but they will be identified by their actions and their twisting of the inspired words of God. Fale prophets will be inspired by the evil one who is out to destroy all those who do not believe in him (persecution of the Christions by Nero - 666 - and later by Domitian who himself proclaimed himself a god and demanded worship. God Bless Richard
dparker777
They will be men of great power & deception, who are able to hide their true intentions from people. Thru this deception they will be able to lead those who are blinded away from God. They will do this through miracles & trickery to achive thre ultimate goal of leading people astray. People will be lost forever because they will not be able to see the lies, they do not know the word of God.
