I’ve been celibate for many years, now, so these teachings aren’t particularly germane.

Unlike Paul, I don’t see any spiritual or practical advantage to celibacy – it’s just a stage of life that has to be endured. It’s much harder to go through life alone for marriage doesn’t permit only sex, but companionship, deep conversation, trust, sharing, affection and much more.

Marriage is God's ultimate expression of adult love.
