Q3. (Daniel 7:18, 22, 27) Three times the angel assures Daniel that "the saints of the Most High" will ultimately receive the kingdom and possess it forever (Daniel 7:18, 22, and 27). In what circumstances is this truth most precious to God's people?  In times of suffering and challenge.  It is also important in the face of others appearing to be winning and victorious.

Though there may have been partial fulfillments, when do you expect the ultimate fulfillment? "WHEN IT GETS HERE MAN."

Years ago on a trip to Jamaica, I had purchased a tour that was scheduled to depart at a certain time.  After 30 minutes of no tour bus; frustrated, I approached the clerk to ask what time the  bus would arrive, the response was it will be on time.  Persistently, I asked what is 'on time' since it was already passed the printed time.  The answer was: "WHEN IT GETS HERE MAM."  That is about the size of it, the ultimate fulfillment will occur, when it occurs; our job is to wait with great expectations

The angel's explanation to Daniel of the fourth beast alludes to the coming of the Antichrist. The Antichrist will:

1. Subdue three kings (7:24b).
2. Speak against the Most High (7:25a).
3. Try to change the set times and the laws (7:25b).

4. The saints will be under his domination for "time, times, and half a time" (7:25c)

Note point 4 where the saints will be under his domination for a time. This will be a terrible time of persecution of the saints. It will be during such a time that God's promise will be most precious. We will have nothing else to do except to focus on Jesus and cry out to him for mercy. There is nothing else the saints can do except to hold on to God's promise that "the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever". The court will sit, and his (the Antichrist) power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Jesus promised, "The one who endures to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:13). The ultimate fulfillment will be when Jesus returns upon the clouds. Come soon, Lord Jesus!

God will finally deliver his people from persecution. Sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven

will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom.

Though there may have been partial fulfillments, when do you expect the ultimate fulfillment?

I believe that the Lord can return at any time, but He won't return until the Seventh Angel blows the final trumpet and declare

for all to hear:

"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."

Knowing this time of trouble & persecution will end and the ending will be wonderful.  New bodies, with Jesus forever!

This will be fulfilled when God thinks it's time & not before!  He is still wanting us to be reaching out to others and sharing the Good News so more will be added to His Kingdom!!!

It seems when life is easy and things are going well, people do not look beyond their own lives and how they are living today. But when there is oppression, people need a renewal of hope and a reminder that God is still on the throne and that we need to refocus back on His kingdom. Those who believe in and follow Jesus are those saints who need to be reminded of our future and be assured that as we are faithful to God and His kingdom, the ultimate victory is ours. This truth is most precious when we are oppressed, persecuted and see the enemy seemingly winning.

Gods kingdom is here now. Jesus has defeated the enemy and His kingdom is growing now. We are awaiting the fulfillment of His kingdom when He returns. but no one knows the day or hours. However, it seems we see the signs that it could be anytime. And we must always be ready and continually be about His work.

Q3.(Daniel 7:18,22,27) Three times the angel assures Daniel that "The saints of the Most High" will ultimately receive the kingdom and possess it forever.

In what circumstances is this truth most precious to God's people? Daniel 7:18,22,27)

In times like we are in now, where the foundations of nations and the earth are being shaken, war, terrorism, violence and anarchy are rampant, racial hatred is on the rise, evil is called good, and good is called evil, where financial ruin is threatened, and where there is an all out war against God and His children, as well as the sharp rise again of anti-Semitism, and the appearance "that God has forsaken His creation" (Though we dealt with that illusion in the previous question.)

Though there may have been partial fulfillment's, when do you expect the ultimate fulfillment?

If you mean the Kingdom of God comprised of all believers in Christ ( Jew and Gentile), we are living in it now, just as our eternal life began the moment of our Salvation and will continue on, through the millennial reign of Christ on the earth and then forever.

V22 tells us it is not until "The Ancient of Days came (Jesus' second coming) and judgment was given to the saints" (we are not given authority to judge until after the Great White Throne Judgment, Rev.20:11-13) when believers are given "crowns" or rewards for what we have allowed the Holy Spirit to work through us here on earth) and anyone's name was not written in the Book of Life was hurled into the lake of fire." I believe the "forever" aspect of the Kingdom will not happen until after these events are fulfilled..

The promise to the Jews of their land is included in this, I believe, in that the New Jerusalem will come down from Heaven to earth where the Saints will dwell with the Lord forever.

As we see sin increasing in intensity and cruelty, as we see the animals suffering for what we did, as persecution increases so are these promises precious to us.

Ultimate fulfillment will be when God's timing is here, not before and not after.

God Bless!

When they (we) are being persecuted. When tough times come, and not just spiritually tough either, we should take comfort from the knowledge that God is in Sovereign control and that in the long run we will be more than conquerors. In the Book of Revelation Jesus, in his messages to the seven churches, encourages them , and us, to hang in there. Those who do will enter the Kingdom.

Though there may have been partial fulfilments, when do you expect the ultimate fulfilment?

At the Second Coming. God, through Christ, established the beachhead with Jesus' death and resurrection and since then the Kingdom of God has been expanding. Before the Second Coming there will be serious problems for Christians, but we'll be saved from eternal destruction, not by out own might, but by Godly intervention.

I think that it should be now. We are already exposed to religious persecution. Just take the middle east crisis – the situation in some Muslim countries like Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia and the likes of it – Christian and priests being jailed, killed or executed for unproved cases blasphemy or profanity of Islam – corrupt governments – priests being executed - it’s getting worse by the day. Let’s recapitulate the temptations brought before us – computer frauds and addiction – media etc. – temptations and sin is just everywhere around us. Many of us are taken a ride by Satan by his acts of the justification of sin as good.

The ultimate fulfillment should be as I have mentioned should be now – the period of antichrist is already here – we all need to be redeemed now – the time of antichrist should not be allowed to go on for 1260 years as prophesied. It’s about the right time "Ancient of Days" through the “Son of Man” together with the “Saints of God” defeat the boastful "little horn" and "its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire."

The repeated assurances of the truth that "the saints of the Most High" will ultimately receive the kingdom and possess it forever would be a most precious hope in times of profound persecution and oppression.  There have been many horrific times in human history for the Jews, but they all pale in comparison with the times of this future prophecy.  Yahweh has given this promise with the emphatic emphasis of repeating it 3 times in this interpretation to drive home the truth that He will raise them up from crushing persecution.  God will ultimately redeem and honor His chosen people just as He has said!

Many prophecies in Scripture have dual meaning, with application apparent in the natural realm and further application in the spiritual realm. Some of this prophecy can be said to mirror the intense persecution of Jews by Antiochus Epiphanes, but certainly no one could say that the entire prophecy when “the saints of the Most High” will receive and possess the final eternal kingdom has been completely fulfilled. That event is yet to come when Messiah, Jesus Christ the King of all kings, returns to earth to establish that enduring kingdom in His Second Coming. Maranatha!

Q3. (Daniel 7:18, 22, 27)

Three times the angel assures Daniel that "the saints of the Most-High" will ultimately receive the kingdom and possess it forever (Daniel 7:18, 22, and 27).

In what circumstances is this truth most precious to God's people?

Though there may have been partial fulfilments, when do you expect the ultimate fulfilment?

All believers, through all the ages, who are redeemed by the atonement of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and their faith in Almighty God, will inherit the final kingdom. We read in Daniel 7:18 that God the Most-High, will give His kingdom to His chosen ones, and it will be theirs forever and ever. What a great promise this is! All believers will inherit the eternal heavenly kingdom of God where they will rule and reign with the Lord Jesus in His administration. This will happen with the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus. God will present the earth to His faithful followers, and all creation will dwell under the perfect authority of Christ Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Christ’s reign over the earth will mark the end of time, as the world now exists, and will precede the final judgment of mankind, which begins the new earth and the new heaven prepared by God as the eternal dwelling of all believers.

The circumstances that "the saints of the Most High" will ultimately receive the Kingdom and posses it forever in Daniel 7:18-22-27 is that when the Lord takes over the evil enemies of the world and destroy them, he will hand over all the nations for the saints to rule forever.

All but the last prophecy's of Daniel have been fulfilled except for the 4th beast. many events in our time are coming together for the entrance of the Antichrist. I believe this prophecy to be fulfilled before the year 2036. This is the year 5776 of the Hebrew calendar. The year 6000 is only 24 years away. Regardless of when the tribulation starts tomorrow or when ever, I learned one thing, Always be ready, for the appearance of the Lord.

The saints of the Most High are certainly people who were faithful to God's teaching.  They had demonstrated their vigilant faith through their suffering in the persecution of the kings ruling the earth. They are like gold purifying in the furnace (Isaiah 48:10-12).

The truth most precious to God's people is the fulfilment of God's promise, that He will establish His eternal kingdom and they will be living in His presence.  It is their only hope of salvation, and the reason for them to endure the persecution that rulers of the earth will afflict upon them.

The writings of Daniel are so clear that we are truly living through the time of the fourth and last beast.  God's people have been persecuted and the earthly rulers have prevailed against them.  I expect the end will be coming soon for God to make His judgement and renew the earth (Revelation 21).  With the signs described by Jesus Christ in Matthew 24, I have no doubt about the End Time that is approaching.

This reward will come to those who are faithful to the end (Matthew 24:13). The ultimate fulfillment of the kingdom of God will happen at the second coming of Jesus Christ The Son of God. We do not know the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36). This truth is most precious to God's people at any time because believers who are still alive, live in this world that is tainted and polluted by the consequences of the fall (Romans 5:12-19). "We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time" (Romans 8:22).

This is truth is precious to God's people because it gives us a hope of eternal live with Jesus Christ forever. The ultimate fulfillment will come when the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.

As Christians let's not forget that we're in the eternal Kingdom right now.
When our Lord died on the cross and the curtain in the Temple was

split from top to bottom, that's when Kingdom became available to us.
Isn't that wonderful encouragement to 'hang in there' when the going
is hard?

The information that the saints of Most High would receive the kingdom is the Blessed Hope after we complete our commission in life (the life anchored on the Word of God and also sharing the Good News .

The ultimate fulfillment is at the Second coming and the events surrounding the Final trumpet ,We are to keep our lamps well oiled and filled up ,

In what circumstances is this truth most precious to God's people?

God's righteousness and love will rule and the offices will be held by those who have been found to be "faithful and true" - Those whose hearts have been circumcised through the blood of the Lamb, as the Father has said, "If you love me, keep my Commandments"

Q4. Though there may have been partial fulfillments, when do you expect the ultimate fulfillment?

The ultimate fulfillment will be seen when God the Son returns for a faithful bride, a bride who is making herself ready, as she watches and waits for His return.

In our time of vicious, evil people being indiscriminate about who they kill, we need this hope!  As history passes on the the "end times" seem to never come, our faith stands in the hope of the coming of Jesus to take us home.

Though there may have been partial fulfillments, when do you expect the ultimate fulfillment?

When God says that the time is right, the end will come and not before.  Man loves to predict when these things will be, but have no clue.

I believe the angel reassuring Daniel that the saints of the most High will receive the kingdom land possess it forever is to help us through the hard times coming. It will be most precious to us as we see all these prophecies come to pass. Due to the many prophecies that are being fulfilled it seems like we are close to Jesus return. But only God knows.

  • 18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for- ever, even for ever and ever.  22 until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
  • In the end of time after Satan is cast in the bottomless pit. God’s children and saints will want to know they will be in the kingdom with their Father and His son.  God’s people and saints will be rejoicing that God’s kingdom has finally come.
  • The ultimate fulfillment will be when Jesus returns!
