Barbiemac
The reason we fight over difficult passages is because when studying we do so with a particular mind set. So everything we study comes from that perspective. We should be careful with one another in discussing our interpretation because God reveals as the time approaches. He sealed up the prophecy till the time of the end. We are to love one another.

Old Jerry
I think that people fight over the interpretation of difficult Bible passages because they want to prove that they know more about the Bible then the other person. Romans tells us not to judge others that God will do that. I think that God is going to do or has done what He pleases and if I have interpreted this wrong I am not going to try to tell God that He is doing it all wrong. Moises Percu
Q2. (Daniel 9:24-27) Why do you think people fight with each other over the interpretation of difficult Bible passages? According to Romans 14:1-5, what should be our attitude towards those who disagree with us on the non-essentials of the faith? Because people want to defend their point of view. According to the mentioned text, we cannot despise our bethren who understand this non-essentials points in another way.
Clelie
People are people who try to show the superiority of knowledge and try to enforce their opinion which they are convinced is the right one. So they fight each other for recognition . But Apostle Paul said to accept the opinion of others and do not dispute or argue over them because they are not worthwhile . Krissi
Considering we'll never really know for certain what the interpretation should be, it seems ridiculous to argue our opinion as truth. There are more important truths in the bible that need to be defended. Just recently I argued with someone over Christ's divinity, for example. Among Christians, there isn't a lot of debate over Christ as God. My attitude toward people who seem to know how to interpret numbers and dates and have a real confidence in their own interpretation is ... to ignore them. Not to their faces, of course, but their words just slide off me.
