Commissioned
On 12/16/2016 at 11:26 AM, Pastor Ralph said: Q4. What is the relationship between the tabernacle in the wilderness and the Kingdom of God? How do God’s Kingdom and glory come together in the wilderness tabernacle? The tabernacle in the wilderness was the place where the presence of God dwelled in the midst of His people. The reign of God, as King of Israel, the tabernacle is the throne-room and the courtyard the boundaries of the King's dwelling. Here, God's people enters to seek His forgiveness and worship Him. God’s Kingdom and glory come together in the wilderness tabernacle through His presence and is seen as a cloud.
Paul Irving
On 12/16/2016 at 1:26 PM, Pastor Ralph said: Q4. What is the relationship between the tabernacle in the wilderness and the Kingdom of God? How do God’s Kingdom and glory come together in the wilderness tabernacle? The tabernacle in the wilderness is the place for God’s people on earth to worship Him. They considered it to be the holiest place made to honor God. God’s not a false god or idol made out of gold, silver, brass or any precious stones. He can hear, He gives good gifts to those that He’s happy with, He’s the Almighty God and can do anything and everything. God’s tabernacle in Heaven is so glorious words have to be carefully chosen. His Heavenly tabernacle is made beautiful with gold, and precious stones, and everything that is beautiful and worth a lot of money by man’s standards. God speaks to His prophets and they speak to the multitudes of people, the ark of the covenant is in the tabernacle in a safe place where no one can touch it, remember Uzzah who died instantly because he touched the ark accidentally because his ox tripped. God is Holy and will not share His Glory with anyone else, a man must put God as number one, the most important being to bow to with the utmost reverence. Zanele Tlhakanelo
The relationship between the tabernacle in the wilderness and the Kingdom of God is that the tabernacle was the tent of meeting where Moses would go in and have a face-to- face meeting with God while the children of Israel would wait outside the door to hear the instructions/commandments that God would have given Moses for the Israelites to carry out. In the tabernacle only people allowed to be there would enter. Whereas, the Kingdom of God dwells in each and every person that God created. We no longer needs a mediator because God speaks to each one of us and we must do His will all the time. When God's Kingdom is upon the tabernacle, His glory engulfs it. Therefore, when God dwells in us, His glory is forever me with us. It is only when we shun Him, that His glory will be removed from us but as long as we are in His presence, His glory will always be with us. As long as the Israelites were obedient to the will of God, His glory was always upon it.
